Headscratchers / The LEGO Ninjago Movie

• Why didn't Lloyd, hated son of the evil Lord Garmadon, reveal to the people of Ninjago City that he was the adored-by-all Green Ninja? It might have made them treat him differently.
  • Or it could have destroyed their faith in the ninjas as a whole since they let in an evil villain's kid who was obviously just biding his time until he was able to follow in his father's footsteps.
• When Garmadon is trapped in a bamboo cage and convinces the ninjas to take him with them, one of the moves he demonstrates is the Chainsaw Chop, which morphs his hand into a chainsaw. Why doesn't Garmadon just use that move to break out of the cage?
• Why does Lloyd listen to Garmadon when he tells the ninjas to take the shortcut through the evil skeleton graveyard? He wasn't in any position to trust him at the time.
  • He was the only adult available at a time when the ninja (who are still in high school) could follow. Since Lloyd, despite being the "leader" wouldn't be on the right depending on the road they choose. (even if they would still pick the Evil Skeleton Graveyard nonetheless...)
  • The other ninja were taking the shortcut. Lloyd's only other option would have been to go off alone, on a longer path that would mean the other ninja would be waiting a long time for him - if the shortcut had worked.
