- If the Suicide Squad is classified, then how can its agents be released after serving their time without the public asking questions?
- The public in general (and even the superheroes themselves at first) believe that supervillains suddenly going free from Belle Reeve is just a case of Cardboard Prison.
- The public can ask as many questions as they want, they just won't get any answers.
- The number of people who successfully worked off their sentences is relatively low, but I'd imagine those that do simply have "Time Off For Good Behavior" marked in their file.
- In the original series, where pardons were given out, this *did* raise questions and clued Batman into the existence of the Squad. And Captain Boomerang was basically permanently pressganged when he tried to take advantage of it.
- I think Waller didn't expect them to live long enough for that.
