• Why did Apollo quickly change his mind about a rematch? Rocky comments on his apparent quick change of mind, but he never gets an explanation.
  • It's largely due to pride, Apollo's name is being run through the mud because he didn't finish a fighter he outclassed.
    • However, he changes his mind as soon as they reach the hospital, before the negative press started.
      • It's not outright stated, but it comes across as pride, even at the end, he couldn't believe that this random no name would make it to the end, and it was a split decision at that! So he needed to prove he was still the undisputed best.
