Headscratchers / Pokémon Rumble

• According to Bulbapedia, in Blast Normal Forme Deoxys hits hard and is fast, but can't take much while Attack form hits as hard and is as fast, but takes even less; with Defense Forme being slower and not being able to deal too much of damage, but takes damage like a boss; while Speed Forme being fast, hitting fairly hard and capable of taking damage. So wait, is Attack Forme inferior to Normal Forme, considering both have 5 in Attack and Speed, but former has 1 in Defense while the latter has 2?
