     Sayu (spoiler warning)
  • If Sayu is a mech, then how did those kids get inside when she wasn't a reverse mermaid?
    • Considering how Mayday and Zuke pop out of the computer in the kids control area, it's entirely possible that they just hopped out of cyberspace through Sayu. Somehow.
    • I think they're piloting some kind of flying control box, that serves as a projector and is located somewhere around her torso normally.
    • A lot of the other musicians appear to have supernatural abilities (ex. Yinu's shape-shifting mother, Tatiana being made of stone and later magma, 1010's factory having infinite supplies, etc.). Maybe Sayu's special ability involves changing size and being Bigger on the Inside.

     Poor green guy
  • Why is green 1010 the least popular? If I existed in that district I would be broke by sending him love letters every day.
    • It's like in regular K-pop. There are some popular members and there are some who aren't. 1010 is based off of K-pop.

     He's a demon!
  • How is DK West able to control shadow puppets? Seriously.
    • Given that NSR's megastars seem to have supernatural abilities of their own (DJ Subatomic Supernova's head being a black hole, Yinu's mother's shape-shifting, Tatiana being a Magma Man, Eve), either Magic Music is in play or it's just a commonplace element of the world. Or maybe DK West has a complex wayang kulit theater set up behind him controlled by his gestures. Or maybe it's just his Stand.
    • Unless you want to assume that this is just a very dreamlike, surreal world where reality shifts at the whim of musicians (which, admittedly, is a very valid interpretation all things considered), you can also think of the music battles in No Straight Roads as being like the song segments in some musicals: you're not meant to take them as events literally happening but rather as symbolic representations of the conflict in musical philosophies between the "combatants" (whereas what's happening in "reality" is a rather more boring, long-term "conflict" by which each side plays their own venues and the public opinion slowly shifts as more and more fans of the former flock over to the latter until they're financially ruined, or something). So DJ Subatomic Supernova doesn't actually turn into a black hole, Yinu's mother isn't actually an ogress, and in this case, DK West is not a shadow demon.

     The 6th Megastar
  • Who was he? What was his involvement with NSR? What genre does he represent? Why is he absent in the present?
    • Maybe he represented the Goolings and Tatiana couldn't bring herself to replace the window?

     In-Universe Audience Apathy to Music
  • The lack of outrage by the citizens of Vinyl City to Bunk Bed Junction taking over parts of the city doesn't make a whole lot of sense by the end. One would think that at least one section wouldn't like rock at all, Bunk bed Junction's music, or the band itself. For example, with 1010's section, real-life K-pop fans have a reputation of being obsessive and likely would not react well to Bunk Bed Junction literally destroying their idols on-stage. It also wouldn't be out of place for a game about a rock band to run into some Moral Guardians who are against their music. Imagine if Bunk Bed Junction had one of their own concerts interrupted by angry fans of other musicians, enraged Moral Guardians, or another band entirely. Tatiana mentions that the people who truly like EDM would likely rise up against Bunk Bed Junction's rock empire eventually, but the lack of immediate outrage from the fans is odd. Are the people of Vinyl City so despite for energy that they just listen to whatever is nearby? Or is the novelty of rock in Vinyl City just that appealing to its residents?
