• Where does Nabbit get his invulnerability? It seems that he's someone else wearing an elaborate costume (his eyes never move or blink), so is the resistance provided by the costume, or natural to whoever's underneath? Or is Nabbit really a new creature/character with invincibility?
  • Nabbit is 99% Bowser Jr. in disguise. So, my explanation? Bowser Jr.'s Nabbit outfit is magical.
  • I always just assumed it was due to the enemies seeing him as one of them, so they don't attack him.
• Why is it that the DLC download is going to be released on June 20th, while the retail version is going to be released 2 months later? Putting On-Disc DLC shouldn't take that long. Just look at Capcom.
  • One part putting it closer to Christmas release, one part encouraging gamers to buy a license instead of a physical product (which is harder to resell, etc), one part sticking it to retailers (while still not abandoning them completely like with some DLC). Not only is it 2 months later, but it's also $10 more.
  • Also, the physical disc will not require the original game in order to play, while the DLC version does, so it also helps encourage people who want to play NSLU but don't have NSMBU to get both at the same time.
• I don't know if this would be explained (as I don't have a Wii U), but why does a Nabbit join Luigi in place of Mario?
  • Probably for many reasons. One could be just to fill in the fourth player, as there's no known way to play as Mario yet. Two could be because, since he can't die, it would make it easier for casual gamers. And three could be, well, since when does Nintendo take time to explain stuff?
  • It could also be to draw more attention to Luigi by having his more famous brother absent.
  • It's an extra selling point that uses mostly existing assets.
  • I think he means story wise. From that point of view, it could be that Nabbit figures that he'll find more treasure if he follows Luigi, and by making them allies, they won't hunt him down whenever he robs from a Toadhouse, like Mario did.
• What exactly happened to Mario, and why did he leave his cap on the table?
