- So how was the bad future even possible? Once Billy caught on to how Moridun works, it was pretty much a curb stomp from there. It doesn't seem like he could've actually possessed Billy if he tried.
- In the future, Moridun had XX years to prey upon Billy's anxiety and depression issues and wear him down, "eating him from the inside out." The Future Avengers coming back in time provoked Moridun into trying to consume Billy all in one go, which let Billy actually fight him consciously while in a good place mentally.
