- The metal headgear on the woman I can understand, but what exactly was the purpose of the extreme chastity belt?
- Possibly to prevent/discourage torturers from sexually assaulting her? (Provided if Mademoiselle is the only one who can open it)
- When Anna finds the woman, her wrists are cuffed to the chastity belt via short chains. Presumably, it was meant to limit her freedom of arm movement so that she couldn't attempt to remove the blindfold or inflict any more severe cuts to her body.
