  • How exactly are the Tulpas evil? Children are creating them with their imaginations, so they should be friendly to the children, or at the very worst ㅤ Chaotic Neutral. Do the alternates corrupt the Tulpas after they are made?
    • Keep in mind that the Tulpas are still Alternates, beings with direct ties to Satan himself. In all likelihood, they're evil the second they come into existence.
  • Following the above, if the Tulpas are willed into existence by the children, and given life by their minds, how are the Tulpas a threat? A child that could will a living creature into existence should be capable of willing them back out of it.
    • Are the children creating the Tulpas or just summoning them?
    • It may not be so easy for children to will them out of existence just as they please. Now that they acknowledge that the Tulpa is in fact a living thing, it may be more difficult for them to simply wish it away.
    • It could just be that the Alternate itself isn't the tulpa — it's disguise is. The children are unwittingly being made to give an incoming Alternate a form that they can use to much more devastating effect on Earth than any human disguise.
  • In an In-Universe context, for what reason would the Mandela County Police Department use "In "Remembrance"" to memorialize Thatcher and Ruth's deaths (supposed in the former's case)?
  • If Satan's plot to Kill and Replace humanity has been going on since biblical times, how has it not succeeded by now? With how powerful the Alternates are and how little hope anyone has of stopping them even in the modern era, it's a wonder there's any humans left by that time.
    • The series implies that before television, alternates were only able to spread via mirrors. Television spread up their invasion considerably.
