Fridge Brilliance

  • The song that plays during The Intruder's appearance in Intruder Alert is none other than Ave Maria, a prayer to The Virgin Mary, who was Jesus Christ's mother. Shortly after that, the song plays once again when The Intruder drives a mother to suicide after kidnapping her child.
  • In a Community Tab post, we can see a picture of a young Mark Heathcliff and his sister, Sarah, in front of the church seen in Exhibition. The picture itself shares an uncanny similarity to "The Hands Resist Him," a painting with a reputation for being extremely cursed.

Fridge Horror

  • The mere implication of Satan changing every major event in The Bible. Is Christianity secretly a Religion of Evil with most of it's story twisted by Satan in order to make himself look like the good guy? Just how many events played out like it's written in the book after Satan takes control, if any at all?
  • "My Movie.mp4" doesn't seem to be very contributing to the lore surface-wise. But what we do learn is in the comments section, where the pinned comment reveals that the video has suddenly appeared on every single computer on the Mandela County Police Department overnight. If there's one thing that is clear from this is that The Intruder has learned to enter computers.
  • Here's the thing - Alternates are capable of replicating absolutely any organism they see. What if they replicated people's pets? What if they replicated the local wildlife? No wonder Earth was overrun in such a short amount of time.
  • The simple fact the only way to identify an alternate is by it messing up its transformation, but whos to say some alternates can't perfectly mimic humans? After all, if they could, how would we even know?
  • The Second Coming. If Abrahamic religion has indeed been twisted to fit Satan's narrative, it's likely that the Second Coming isn't referring to Christ coming back to Earth and doing the Last Judgement, but rather Satan returning to finish what he started.
  • The afterlife, if there still is one. With Satan running everything, who's to say humanity isn't doomed to suffer eternally?
  • In the very ending of mandela catalyst, we see Adam in his room, half-way into becoming an Alternate, and begging Thatcher to kill him. If we inspect his room in close detail, we can find various objects, ranging from a bleach bottle to an entire CINDER BLOCK. Gabriel also implies that his screams could be heard from all the way to Mandela County, begging the question: For how long has Adam been trying to kill himself? How many methods has he tried before realizing that he's literally unable to die? The answer is unclear, but it's implied he has felt every single bit of pain since.
