  • In "The Apartment" while Paul and Jamie are discussing their will, Paul says he left his stereo to Selby and Jamie says he left the couch to Lisa. Paul complains she'll be dead and he'll have to drag the couch up town. Why would he have to give her sister their couch if Jamie died? Why wouldn't he just keep that? Same with the stereo.
    • He owns the stereo and she owns the couch. Probably they were both bought before the marriage. As owners the items in question would be theirs to bequeath to anyone they want to, which would supersede any implied joint ownership where the item automatically goes to the surviving spouse if there wasn't a will.
