  • How is it possible that everyone believed Tori when she said that she wasn't involved in a lesbian relationship with Paulie, given that she kept rooming with Paulie and never made any attempt, as far as we saw, to change rooms? Wouldn't a straight girl whose roommate was obviously madly—and I mean that literally—in love with her want to get away from this obsessed, violent stalker? Given that, wouldn't the fact that Tori never asked the school administration to change her room assignment render her denials totally incredible to the other students?
    • It's possible they were full and no room change could happen, or that other students refused to share a room with Paulie (certainly plausible after she's outed and her behavior becomes increasingly erratic). Beyond that, how deep do you expect people to think into it? Paulie seems to be friendly only with her roommates and has little contact with anyone else.
  • How could the school administration do so little as a student very obviously had a nervous breakdown? Paulie was pretty obviously losing her mind, and the administration clearly knew it, since one of the administrators did talk to her about it, but there was no further action. No calls to her parents, no suspensions, no mandatory counseling, no nothing. Wasn't the school setting itself up for a massive lawsuit, especially considering how predictable the final outcome was?
    • Very little of her behavior was cause for more than detention or suspension. Breaking a mirror and knocking over a dish cart were about the only "bad" things she did. Paulie is also a very closed-in person, so her normal behaviors may have been erratic as well. As for calling home, all that would do is out Paulie to her family, which may not be a good thing either considering what happened to Tori.
