Headscratchers / Kid Detective (2020)

  • The blood-in-the-car mystery seems to be a curious inclusion in Abe's montage of solved mysteries. While there's no confirmation that it was a murder, it still stands out as a more serious and adult crime. This runs counter to the general theme that Gracie's disappearance and Abe's most recent murder case are well beyond Abe's league in seriousness. It also makes it a bit more ambiguous as to whether he's lying or not when he suddenly claims to have already solved three murders.
    • I believe it was a "blood on the car" mystery. The implication is that the dad was involved in a hit-and-run and didn't wait around afterwards which is a serious crime but not a murder.
