  • Why is this, an American cartoon, on a streaming service made for Japanese anime?
  • Why did Lavender leave behind her sword? If Flowering Thorn was her primary weapon, then why didn’t she take it with her?
  • Why does Sage need to learn New Magic? It would make sense if she needs to learn what it is and how to use it, but it feels like everyone was saying she needs to abandon the magic she already knows in favor of New Magic. Not to mention there are other Old Magic students at the school. If there’s a teacher that teaches Old Magic, then why isn’t she in that class?
  • Why wasn’t Sage taught how to use her Terrasphere? Anise bought it to help Sage with classes and yet, Sage wasn’t taught how to use it at all. Not to mention there doesn’t seem to be a class for Sage to learn how to use it. She’s simply expected to know how to use it already.
  • How come no one recognized Flowering Thorn until it was brought up in episode 6? If Lavender is such a legendary hero, then wouldn’t the students and teachers (safe for Caraway) determine that Rosemary is Lavender’s daughter a lot sooner and be swarming her asking questions about her mother?
  • Why wasn’t Parsley enrolled in an advanced smith’s class before her teacher found out that a beginner’s class was unsuitable for her? Since she works at her family’s blacksmith shop, shouldn’t her experience have been a determining factor of which class she should enroll for?
    • The teacher needed to know what she could actually do. She might have learned actual smithing, or might have done little more than fetch and carry, or anywhere in between.
  • If Aloe was making breakfast, then why did Anise bring Sage and Rosemary tea and cookies?
  • Why weren’t the students preparing for the Scypith mission via fighting monsters underwater? It would give the students a chance to adjust to their merforms and they’d know how to use their weapons, if they can, under water.
  • Why didn’t Aloe and Anise go with the girls as they toured Lyngarth? They were tasked with taking care of the girls and yet, they let Rosemary and Sage run through the city without supervision or even a way to get back to the apartment.
  • If the Scypith needed to be captured alive (as the Triad clarifies), how come Caraway chose Rosemary, Sage, Parsley, and Thyme with the mission after they killed the fake tentacle monster earlier? And since they only needed to capture said Scypith, why was Caraway training them to kill a monster in the first place?
  • When a small potted flower bites Zinnia's face and lifts her into the air, why isn't the flower pot tipping over from Zinnia's weight?
