Headscratchers / Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai

Why does Fifteen use a Sengoku Driver and Lock Seeds to transform?
The powers were made by Badan, so shouldn't they be more similar to ZX? There's already precedent for Badan having a character who can just transform into previous Riders without needing a Lock Seed to do so.
  • Production-wise, it's because Gaim is the current rider. In-universe, it's likely that they chose to use the Sengoku driver and Lockseed so they wouldn't have to worry about another rider going rogue like ZX did - since the Sengoku driver can be removed, it would be a lot easier to take the powers back than if the rider was the same as ZX.

Why didn't the Showa Riders just let Gaim and Decade get Shu to his mother?
This movie paints the Showa Riders in such an idiotic and stubborn light by having them concoct this elaborate scheme when they could have just let Shu get to his mother and apologize. Badan's ENTIRE scheme hinged on this one kid's ghost, and would have been completely rendered moot if Hongo and his bunch would have either let Kouta and Tsukasa take the boy to the lighthouse, or do it themselves. Once Shu would have crossed over, Badan suddenly has nothing to power its machine, and boom, cue curpstomp from all 30 Riders to clean up.
  • They didn't trust the new guys to get the job done, most likely. Maybe they thought that if the Heisei riders were left alone and they found out what Shu's deal was, they'd try to Take a Third Option and bring him back to life somehow, delaying things enough to fail.

Only Daigo and the ToQgers.
You'd think after the last two events, that when a crisis on this scale happens, the Super Sentai would show up. But instead only Daigo (who pretty much ditched his team) and the ToQgers were aware of it?
  • Compared to the last few events, this one is relatively minor (It’s consigned to Zawame City, which is already a Weirdness Magnet) so it’s likely that the ones in the area were the only ones who responded in time to join the fight.
  • They probably wouldn't want to get involved in the fights between Rider's in the first place seeing it as not their place, as well as not knowing which side to back. Unlike Kamen Rider, which stopped as the Heisei era began and took a large time off and then returned with a significantly different feel and look to the Showa era, the Super Sentai teams don't have as large a generation gap between them because it never stopped, and the overall aesthetic never really changed as drastically. So it's not like the Liveman and before teams would back the Showa Riders by default. And of course after they finish their battle is when the Sentai appear. As for why so few showed up, the Riders mostly had things under control compared to the previous Super Hero Taisen finale.
