  • Why does Rocket refer to his ammunition as "bullets" as if his guns were slugthrowers?
    • Out-of-universe Explanation: So that the developers didn't have to come up with another word that would get the meaning across for a minor piece of dialogue. The game's already loaded with cosmic jargon, and "cartridges" or something like that might not have the same effect.
    • In-universe Explanation: It's plausible that Rocket is saying something in an alien language that, from Peter's perspective, translates easiest to "bullets" via his implant.
      • The description of Rocket's 'Bye-Bye Engine' mentions that it contains several guns that are actually larger than the frame of the weapon itself. It's entirely possible that one of those guns fires bullets, and he just doesn't feel the need to mince words.
  • Next up: How does Rocket know who Euclid is? He refers to the second part of Drax's mind in the maze as a "non-Euclidian nightmare maze"
    • Earth exists in the GOTG universe. Peter Quill explicitly has posters on his wall from Earth, as well as having literal cassette tapes of Wham! and a-ha on his ship. There's no reason that he couldn't have picked the term 'non-Euclidian' up from Quill while watching a horror movie or something, and there's also no reason why Rocket couldn't just... know about Euclid.
  • how does cosmo have pups in the game?
    • Well you see, when a mommy dog and a daddy dog love each other very much... no idea. Aliens that look like puppies?
    • Inter-species breeding is explicitly a thing in-universe (Nikki is under threat because she's not full Kree) so Cosmo successfully mated with an alien, just like Peter thought he did.
    • Also, Cosmo is from Earth. Their puppies are probably at least part puppy, hence the appearance.

  • Why is Jack Flagg imprisoned?
    • Well, he does have a criminal record.
