  • I was never fully sure, when everyone was chanting the Doctor's name and even the Master's allies joined in, were they all willing or did the urge to join in build through the psychic connection and basically overwhelm them, it seemed like that with Lucy anyway.
    • Probably the former, the Master isn’t exactly the type to treat his ‘allies’ well, and Lucy in particular suffered a lot of abuse at his hands.
  • When Martha told "every single person on Earth" about the Doctor, did she also tell uncontacted tribes? Was she somehow able to come into contact with the Sentinelese and tell them about the Doctor?
    • Maybe uncontacted tribes make up such a small proportion of Earth's population that their lack of knowledge about the Doctor has no significant effect on the efficacy of the telepathic field.
      • This makes the most sense - Martha's statement was likely an exaggeration - she didn't literally tell every human being about the Doctor. In the same way that not 100% of a population, but only a reasonably large proportion, need to be vaccinated against a particular disease to reduce its spread to negligible levels, not literally every human being, but only a large majority, need to know of the Doctor in order for the telepathic field to work. Hyperbole works like that.
    • Most "uncontacted" tribes actually have contact with other tribes, who have contact with the industrialised world. These "uncontacted" tribes get knowledge about the industrialised world via these "contacted" tribes, including, presumably, knowledge about the Doctor.
    • Maybe the Toclafane had wiped out all the uncontacted tribes by then. They wiped out Japan, after all.
