• As the promotional materials indicate, on top of being 6'4", Viktor Drago is also weighs 245 lbs, making him a heavyweight fighter. The previous movie established that unlike his father, Adonis is a light heavyweight, a weight class that tops at 175 lbs. How is it that they can be fighting each other? Who sanctioned this bout?
  • It's entirely possible that Adonis moves up in weight for this fight.
    • The film reveals that Adonis moved up to heavyweight shortly after his fight against Conlan.
• For Adonis' training, wouldn't getting hit in the midsection repeatedly make it more susceptible to damage during the fight?
  • For one, they wouldn't hit him to the point of injury and two, they would allow him to heal up any damage properly leading up to the fight. The main point is just to get Adonis used to fighting with a ton of pain in his midsection. They can't prevent him from getting hurt by Viktor with their strategy (and to wit, Adonis gets his ribs broken yet again) but just allow him to put up with it long enough while still being able to fight somewhat effectively.
• Who was looking after Amara while Adonis, Bianca, Mary Anne and Rocky were all in Moscow?
  • Early on, Adonis mentions that Bianca was calling her aunt about her pregnancy. Maybe it was her who watched her. Alternatively, they have enough money that they could hire a babysitter.
