  • Don't the kids needs to take the AP Test even if they get an automatic A? Additionally, when they all get ones on the AP test, won't it be known that Jack is fraudulent?
    • Yes. AP classes are just prep for the AP test. Getting a high grade in an AP class affects your high school GPA. Your score on the AP test is what determines how many, if any, college credits you earn. So yes, in the real world, if the school year ever actually ends and all of his A students get surprisingly low scores on the test, it would raise eyebrows.
    • There are some hints that this will become a plot-point eventually. Most likely Jack will put together some hair-brained scheme to steal the test answers that will fail hilariously and they will all learn something about themselves in the process.

  • How did some of the nitwits in the class end up in an AP science level class? Additionally, how can Jack force Dan into an AP class automatically? Wouldn't he have to have met prereqs?
    • They aren't bookdumb, they are just dumb about most everything else. And Dan is fairly quickly shown to be really smart, he could already have met the prereqs, if the school even has any. Otherwise, Jack could probably fairly easy bully Durbin into waving it.

  • When Marjorie (the ring salesman) came in Season 3 who both Durbs and Helen had the hots asked "if you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me" to Helen and said she'd come by after work, to what degree was she being serious about a three-way? She seemed somewhat aghast when reading the card.
