- Played for Laughs, sure, but why on Earth Pseudolous needs to sign everything he says to Gymnasia, or even had to learn sign language from his Silent maid as a kid, while Gymnasia, and with her possibly all the Silent Women population hasn't show any sign to have the slightest hearing impairment?
- It may be a gesture of courtesy: Pseudlous is badly smitten, and badly in love with Gymnasia. Furthermore, from Gymnasia's viewpoint spoken language is just a second, acquired skill, thus speaking to her in her mother tongue is still the easiest way to get the point across.
- His Silent nursemaid would have told him what to do, told him stories, etc., so he would have picked up sign language very early.
