Episode 1 - X-Ray and Vav Rise

• We first meet the duo making a daring and risky rescue... of a cat stuck in a tree. And even then they mess it up.
• Hilda's first reaction to X-Ray.
• Upon meeting ORF, Vav goes into baby-talk.
  ORF: Language input does not compute. Please speak: English!
• Trying to stop the thieves. Every last bit of it.
• Hilda successfully gets the CEO to leave when the wall blows up
  ORF: Job security at 0%
  Hilda: GODDAMMIT X-RAY!
• The random Ghost X-Ray in the teacup.
  "Imma ghooost!"

Episode 2 - Operation: Rescue Friend

• The opening. Rusty draws attention to the fact that when he heard he would be filming two guys in costumes in an alley, he was expecting something very different.
• Hilda finds the duo in an alleyway and gets ready to murder X-Ray. Rusty asks her to hold while zooming in to get a good angle. She punches Rusty.
• Upon hearing that ORF needs liberating from Monarch Labs.
  X-Ray: "You hear that?"
  Vav: "A rescue mission!"
  X-Ray: "Sounds like a job for..."
  X-Ray and Vav: "X-Ray and Va-"
  Hilda: "No, no, no! Stop. I do not need your help."
• X-Ray searches for his grappling hook in his "Over-Undies", and makes some... peculiar facial expressions and noises while doing so. Then...
  Hilda: "Geez, how long does it take to find a grappling hook?"
  X-Ray: "Grappling hook?"
• The superhero transition screen with happy duo and reluctant looking Hilda.
• One part of Hilda's plan to rescue ORF is Rusty guiding them from the unmarked van. Cue a Description Cut of Rusty in a van that actually says "Unmarked Van" on the side.
• X-Ray and Vav sneak into the security room, make a load of hand signals... and look up to realise the guard has spotted them.
  X-Ray: "I'm a ninja!" (eye-blasts the guard)
• This little exchange:
  Vav: If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!
  The Mad King: Hahaha, you two paupers are no match for my cunning genius.
  X-Ray: Gross! You're gonna do what to us?!
  Vav: X-Ray, he said "cunning genius".
  X-Ray: Oh. Still gross.
• The Mad King. Especially his reaction to Hilda using The Power of Friendship to rescue ORF.
  "What is this Disney bullshit?"
• ORF's cheery tone as she says:
  "He deserves to suffer!"

Episode 3 - Evil Unlocked

• The Corpirate says he's at the Mayor's to 'plunder his booty'. The Mayor is alarmed.
• The fact that X-Ray's Mother is voiced by Gus.
  • And his elderly female neighbour by Jack.
• Rusty makes his entrance beating up X-Ray's elderly neighbour because he thinks she's being mind-controlled by the government to kill X-Ray and Vav... or she's a zombie.
• The Key to the City can't mind-control X-Ray or Vav because they don't have minds to control.
• Hilda enters the scene having figured out everything only to find that everyone else already knew.

Episode 4 - Storm the Tower

• X-Ray and Vav break into the Corpirate's base to save Hilda, and actually succeed. Too bad they forgot to disable the alarms.
• We finally get to see the one of Vav's numbered plans he mentioned in the pilot in action and how they actually use the squid...
• X-Ray jumps from the building to the helicopter while saying "Parkour!"
• Rusty joins the others from the cockpit to talk about taking them to the top of the tower to finally put an end to the Corpirate's plan... wait, who's flying the copter?
  • Rusty and Hilda land on top of the tower well, X-Ray and Vav faceplant.
• ORF's Badass Boasts. Adorable and terrifying!
• The first team-up hit from X-Ray and Vav versus the Corpirate is a Groin Attack from both sides. No, not hitting him in the groin. Hitting him with their groins. In the face.
• X-Ray bemoans dying a virgin and without knowing who his father is.
  Corpirate: "What if I told ye... I be ye father?"
  X-Ray: (instantly brightening) "Really? Papa?"^* With the emphasis on the second syllable, rather than the first, which manages to make it even better
  Corpirate: "Of course not ye fool!"
• Vav's attempt at a Pre-Mortem One-Liner before pushing the Corpirate off the building features him trying to use "mutinated" and "mutinized".
  Vav: (now deadpan and annoyed) Consider yourself mutinized. ...I mean mutinated. ... This is a mutiny, is what I'm getting at.
  X-Ray: After all this, that's your finishing line?!
  Corpirate: Aye, t'was terrible.
  Vav: You're terrible! (pushes him)
• The after-credit scene. Apparently Vav activated his slow-mo hands when he pushed the Corpirate. A bit of a Brick Joke since the sound effect was quietly played when he did so.

S2 Episode 1: The Dawn of Mogar

• The Corpirate is still falling in slow motion. The police have no idea how to proceed.
  • Alternatively, the Corpirate is still in the air!
• X-Ray and Vav arrive to stop crime...by bus.
• X-Ray and Vav have a fan! Whom they apparently took to court to get a restraining order.
• When the newspaper writes stories about them they don't like, X-Ray breaks in to beat the crap out of the reporter. Vav comes along to deliver a Strongly Worded Letter.

S2 Episode 2: Enter the Dragonfic

• With Hilda’s promotion, ORF now wears a tie.
  • ORF’s general cheerfulness in general.
• X-Ray being highly jealous of Vav and Ash.
• Vav being out on a ‘date’ with Ash, and utterly frozen, and comments afterwards that soon he might be able speak.
  • Hilda hearing that Vav was on a date.
  Hilda:Awww, you dweebs are finally growing up.
  X-Ray: How dare you, I'll never grow up.
• Our hero’s dialog once under control of the book.
• Hilda has been Kicked Upstairs to head Monarch Labs… And she doesn’t even know what the company actually does. She’s even shown in a business meeting talking about how “These numbers mean… numbers.”
• “Why does my mouth taste like shitty dialog?”
• The entirety of what happens after the Little Girl gets ahold of the book, from the sparkily outfits, to the revelation that she’s a Yaoi Fangirl.
  • And it appears that Hilda is also a Yaoi Fangirl.
• In all honesty, this episode seems to be a gigantic Take That! at fan fiction writers, or rather, the worse ones.
  Hilda: God, this looks like something out of a bad fan fiction.

S2 Episode 3: My Dinner with Ash

• X-Ray's idea of disguising himself so he can surreptitiously give Vav dating advice is to simply add a handlebar mustache.
• Mogar shows up at a formal restaurant, wearing a tie... and the rest of his normal outfit, complete with sword.

S2 Episode 4: Coal and Order

• X-Ray's insistence on knocking down Flynt's door. Then screaming at Flynt when he calls him "loud and obnoxious".
• Flynt's Private Eye Monologue. Just... all of it.
• Flynt pouring coffee into his mouth while narrating, resulting in most of it spilling.
• The entire Noodle Incident of what happened between Rusty and Flynt just gets worse and worse the more they half explain.
• The Architects' club and that Rusty's a part of it, though only for the free food and orgies. Then he tries to get the trio to participate.
• "I bet I could jump it!" [pathetic hop]

S2 Episode 5: The Madness of the King

• X-Ray treating The Mad King as a psychiatrist, complete with comfy chair.

S2 Episode 6: It's A Crazy Mad World

• How does The Mad King reclaim his position? PUPPIES!
  • How did he get the puppies? Mogar swipes a bag from another criminal, walks into a pet store and busts right out WITH puppies.
• Vav saves Hilda from Mogar by hitting him with his Slo-Mo Rays. Hilda just casually walks away.
• "Mogar insists you stop hitting yourselves."
• After dethawing her, Hilda takes a little comfort in being able to invent once more, but isn't sure if she could do so in their home. ORF gives Hilda a bunch of scraps and tells her she can do anything if she just *~BELIEVES~*... and when that fails, Vav mutters "Shut the hell up, ORF."

S2 Episode 7: The Anti-Vav Ray

• The opening now has the puppies running alongside X-Ray and Vav
• When the duo finds out about The Mad King, X-Ray declares that they're going to expose his ass on TV (as in, reveal he's a bad guy). Vav, however, questions what would pantsing him do (as in, pulling down his kilt and literally exposing his ass)
• "Cheater, cheater, consumer of pumpkins"
• Hilda's Curse Cut Short moments.
• Mogar with the shirt cannon!
• The Mad King's Mic Drop moment.

S2 Episode 8: Divide and Conquer

• Vav taking away X-Ray's stuff in a box, listed as "Shithead's Things"
• Hilda: "DIAL ONE! DIAL ONE!" ORF: [cheerfully] "I cannot hear you!"
• Vav being forced to take in Dragonface as a sidekick.
• The Mad King's plan, titled "Diabolical Plot to Seize and Exploit the Homo-Ursadae's Maternal Figure"^Translation Evil plan to take and use the man-bear's mom. Mogar of course, can't read big words, so he angrily dismisses it.
• The Reveal: Mogar's mother is EDGAR THE COW
  • In a hole. And sure enough, The Mad King wants Edgar's milk

S2 Episode 9: No You in Team

• The first comment Ash receives on her blog on The Mad King? "Kill yerself". She immediately lampshades it.
• X-Ray and Vav's Wimp Fight. Followed by Dragonface and Dwayne's. Hilda has to correct herself when she sees the latter as the most pathetic thing ever.
• Rusty comments early on that villains love their 'phases' when doing their planning. When The Mad King reveals that capturing Mogar and the cow was just phase one, Rusty rolls his eyes in annoyance.
• The Energized Dairy Gathering Absorption Ring. Because Fun with Acronyms.
• The evil chef guy starts talking about the "magic" cow. The Mad King says for the last time, it's not magical, then starts spouting a long explanation of the scientific principles behind it. When he sees the chef doesn't understand a word of it, he groans and says fine, it's magical.
• When The Mad King starts sapping the strength out of everyone who drank the milk, Rusty drops to the ground and Hilda calls him a traitor for having drank it. He moans that he couldn't help it, the picture of the cow was so cute!

S2 Episode 10: Reign Down

• After Hilda's Transformation Sequence to suit up with ORF's ORF Suit.exe, she goes to blast the door... only for a key to snap out of the hand and unlock the door.
• The flashback sequence ends with young X-Ray and Vav standing together... and X-Ray still has his pants around his ankles.
• With Hilda getting her butt kicked, Dragonface keeps begging her to let him help. She throws him at the dock worker and chef.
  Dragonface: I'm helping!
• When X-Ray and Vav go to rebuild Mogar's house after everything's said and done, X-Ray declares it finished, only to be a shoddy frame of a house. Mogar can only mention that he "...appreciates the sentiment."
• And then there is Mogar's dating advice:
  Mogar: Mogar suggests you present the beating heart of your latest kill to the female.
• The Stinger: It took him an entire damn season, but the Corpirate finally landed!

Shorts

• Posi-Choises 101:
  • X-Ray and Vav are doing a PSA to a rather bored gym full of children. The only time they pay attention is when Vav accidentally recorded porn over their videos.
  • The fact that they got Mogar to be their child stand in. To signify that he's playing a child, they make him wear a propeller beanie.
  • The "eucalyptus" callback.

• The X-Ray & Vav Holiday Special:
  • In a search for a Secret Santa gift, X-Ray runs to Mogar's place, only to find he's "hiburnating" and to not disturb him. "This means you, X-Ray."
  • At the party, Ash and the Mayor are under the mistletoe and Ash looks like she just wants to run away.
  • X-Ray's gift? A box. An empty box.
  • Mogar reading the advertisement for the X-Ray & Vav "Divd"

Others

• Season 2's intro definitely counts.
• To celebrate Rooster Teeth's partnership with Frederator Studios, they released a poster called "ORF Meets Catbug◊" While the mascot of X-Ray and Vav meeting the mascot of Bravest Warriors is adorable, the funny is the looks on the cast of X-Ray and Vav, RWBY and Rooster Teeth Animated Adventures, including X-Ray ready to make Catbug suck x-rays, Blake's "It's so adorable"-like look joining the Little Girl's look and Ruby holding back Zwei.
• At one point during the cast commentary on the DVD release, Gavin drifts into talking about using the Slow-Mo gloves while self pleasuring... then talking about using the results, slowed down, as a trick on somebody entering the room.
