RERUN is still not afraid to lean into the comical angle of things for some of its content.

, Boyfriend and Girlfriend are Named by the Adaptation here; specifically as "Crusty Condom" for Boyfriend and "Used Tampon" for Girlfriend. - Despite "Too Slow" being pure creepiness and bathing in Narm Charm in general, Sonic.exe's losing icon has him pull a more goofy expression, giving a light sense of amusement in the overall chaos.
- While "Torment" bathes in the Nightmare Fuel side of things, especially considering its opponent, the midway point of the song shows where Girlfriend is at in the song; playing a piano while floating in space of all things!
- Midway through "Party Streamers", an image of Markiplier comes to land on the central block Girlfriend is sitting on, knocking her off it and causing her to faceplant on the floor. Once he's gone, she gets back up without issue. It's during his time on-screen that Sunky has his Mid-Battle Tea Break.
- "Sonic Kills You And You Die" is pretty unnerving, though Sonic.exe decides to be quite Captain Obvious about the fact that he's gonna kill you, and, well, that you'll die.
- In the original leaked playable version of "Redolled", the song itself played in the background while the vocals and charting were hilariously out-of-tune. This was put back to normal in the finished version of the build, though.
- "REROY" is quite the funny joke song, having Reroy himself dancing in his idle (the sign in front of him claiming that he "Will danse 4 Re-Run Leaks!!!"), the sprites used are pretty goofy, and Reroy plays a saxophone at one point during the song. Finally, the song concludes with Reroy saying "Bye, guys!" before promptly exploding.
