• "Shadow Play", where Woody gets frustrated at Buzz Lightyear somehow being able to make good shadow puppets of a bald eagle, the American flag being raised, and a rocket blasting off with surrounding stars and a tiny Buzz waving from the top.
• In the short "Force Field", Buzz Lightyear tries to fly into the television and concludes that he's being kept out by a force field. Woody's response is just golden.
  Woody: Glass, Buzz! Not a forcefield. It's a television! You watch cartoons on it. Unless you break it with your big, thick helmet head!
• The little green men doing the clown car gag.
  Woody: I know. It's not funny when clowns do it either.
• "Woody Imposter", where one of the Pizza Planet aliens takes Woody's hat and badge while he's sleeping, only for Woody to wake up and take them back.
• In "Story Time", Woody comes across Rex, Hamm and the Pizza Planet aliens sobbing while reading a book that has frowning masks on the cover. Woody flips the book upside down, which turns the frowning masks into smiling masks and causes the toys to start laughing instead.
• One short has Rex play a shell game with the toy robot and the Troikas, only to end up surprised by Babyface leaping out of one of the Troikas. It helps that the scene is accompanied by Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer".
  • Another short has Babyface do a Mexican hat dance around Woody's hat. The result? A tasteful piece of paper cut art.
• "Roadblock." It's just such a horrible joke, and Woody makes such a stupid face...
• "Sky Runner Buzz! It really flies!" It's sad and hilarious at the same time, how does that work?
• There is a short where the toys are arguing over what to watch.
  Rex: Hey! A dinosaur documentary! Maybe this one has a happy ending!
  Hamm: (explosion from TV) Annnd there's the meteor. My turn!
  (changes the channel as stock news music plays)
  Woody: "Wall Street Report"?
  Hamm: Oh, sure, on the outside, I might be a pig. But on the inside, I'm all bank!
  • Then, when Rex is lecturing the Pizza Planet Aliens on the Age of Dinosaurs;
    Rex: And so the Jurassic gave way to the Cretaceous. For 72 million years, dinosaurs ruled the Earth!
    Alien: And then?
    Hamm: Kaboom!
• Rex playing with the tv remote.
  Rex: Hey! Know what I'm doing?
  Hamm: Yeah, breaking the TV remote.
  Rex: No! I'm channel surfing! Haha! Get it? Channel! Surfing!
• In one short, a playtime had Buzz dressed up as Mrs. Nesbitt;
  Woody: So, how was your day, Buzz?
  Buzz: (embarrassed) If you don't mind, I'd rather not talk about it.
  Robot: (half-mockingly) I love you.
• A couple of the "Green Army Man Chants" have a cute doll giving the soldiers a flirtatious wave causing them to get distracted and fall over. Made funnier by the doll's expression upon seeing them fall.
  • Something a bit silly about Combat Carl's marching along with the troops.
