Funny / The Wyatt Family

  • You wouldn't think that a creepy cult-like group would be responsible for a laugh-out loud moment, but somehow they managed to pull this off during a dark match moment. As John Cena stands in the middle of the ring after the December 9, 2013 RAW, he calls out Randy Orton to come give him a match…and then the Family rolls out from under the ring and sprints for the back to the stunned laughter of the crowd. Cue Cena remarking "Did I drink too much Starbucks or did I just see the Wyatts run out from under the ring?"
    • For a real belly laugh, consider the Wyatts had a match earlier in the night against the Usos, and then rolled under the ring to wait out the rest of the night. Why is this funny? Well, December 9 2013 was the night of the Championship Ascension Ceremony when all hell broke loose. So go watch that again, and laugh as you realize that the Wyatts were underneath the ring during the whole thing.
  • Not directly related to the Family themselves, but during Bray's WrestleMania XXX match with John Cena, a sign in the crowd can be spotted reading "If Cena wins we Wyatt".
  • During Extreme Rules 2014, he briefly DANCES with a dazed John Cena.
    • He did it again at Payback.
  • At Payback, Bray hits Cena with the steel steps, and then while Cena's down, he stands on the steps and as the crowd starts singing 'He's Got The Whole World In His Hands', he conducts along and even concludes it with a bow.
  • On one level, the sheer ridiculousness of Rowan and Harper being used as lumberjacks for the Summerslam 2014 match between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. And keep in mind that they were probably only there because previous TV losses to Chris Jericho resulted in them being banned from ringside for Jericho's one-on-one match with Wyatt himself ( not that Wyatt needed them...). It almost amounts to the wrestling equivalent of Villains Out Shopping.
  • Erick Rowan seems to have a gift for being The Comically Serious since his return from hiatus. His short appearance on the 11/3/14 RAW where he tries to flirt (in very creepy fashion) with Renee Young is hilarious.
  • One unexpected one came one Raw when they were going up against The Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer. Before the match we have their typical Light-Flicker Teleportation... but instead of the Family, who shows up? R-Truth, who looks startled and briefly confused. Upon finally noticing where he's at, he proceeds to wave to the crowd, who goes from booing the Family to cheering for Truth. Another Smash Cut happens, and Truth disappears, with the Wyatts finally coming out. So unexpected, yet so hilarious
Jerry Lawler: I think R-Truth took a wrong turn, guys! (Truth waves at crowd, Wyatt Family Smash Cut happens) You might wanna get out of there, Truth!
  • Anytime they picked on Byron Saxton:
    • They would take his chair for Bray to sit on (to substitute the rocking chair that was destroyed by The Undertaker), causing Saxton to either stand or, at one time, be on his knees to call their matches. Bonus points to the crowd chanting "Sit Down Byron!" when this happened to him the second time. Tom Phillips was even a victim of this.
    • One time, they put their sheep masks on him (which they would later take off during the commercial break.)
