  • "Free for All" is one of the more humorous episodes in the series, at least before the mood shifts at the end.
    • When Number Two calls Number Six at the beginning to come over to Two's office for a chat, Six refuses by uttering "The Mountain Shall Come to Mohammed!" Almost immediately Number Two steps through Six's door uttering "Mohammed?" to which Six (slightly impressed by the setup) acknowledges Number Two as "Mount Everest."
    • Trying to hold a friendly chat with Six about the pending Village elections:
      Number Two: Thinking of running?
Number Six: Like blazes, first chance I get!
    • Six's tirade towards the other Villagers who have gathered for his first election campaign speech: "MOST OF YOU WILL DIE HERE LIKE ROTTING CABBAGES!"
      • And the crowd immediately whips out campaign banners with Six's picture on them and cheer him on! The camera even zooms in to Patrick McGoohan's face like "Whhhhaaaaaattt?"
  • In the episode "The Chimes of Big Ben" Number Two asks Number Six whether he'd like one sugar in his tea, or two. Number Six answers that it should be in the file, and Number Two acknowledges that it is—it says he doesn't take sugar. Immediately after, Number Six very pointedly drops three sugar cubes into his tea. If you can't beat 'em, be as much of a little shit as possible.
  • In "A, B and C" during the last dream as Number Six is messing with Number Two, he says to a random woman, "Haven't they killed you yet?" Before remarking with a smirk, he had mistaken her for someone else.
  • Almost the entirety of "Hammer Into Anvil" is a laugh riot as the Number Two completely crumbles into pieces.
