Anime (Season 1)
- Early in the series, Miyuki and Tatsuya are at a restaurant with classmates and decide to troll them. Miyuki leans into Tatsuya's chest and he looks adoringly at her, just like a couple, while Miyuki says they are bound by "deep sibling love".
- While testing out the new flight CAD equipment, most of the testers decided to play tag, forgetting that it sucks magic pretty easily. After a few hours, they're already on the floor, too tired from moving.
- Miyuki pulling off an Et Tu, Brute? on Tatsuya to persuade him to be the CAD engineer for the competition. Tatsuya even quotes said line.
- After Miyuki and Tatsuya witness Erika being immature by being upset with her brother dating Watanabe Mari, Miyuki teases her by asking if she has a brother complex. Erika gets mad and says she doesn't want to hear that from her, "super bro-con girl!"
Anime (Season 2)
- Episode 1: Lina acting utterly incompetent in her job as a spy.
- Episode 6: Mayumi makes extremely bitter chocolate to give to Tatsuya. Tatsuya tastes it and can only cough uncontrollably.
- Episode 7: The Parasite-possessed Pixie's first action towards Tatsuya is to embrace him, much to the jealousy of Miyuki and Honoka.
- Then, it turns out that said action is a product of gaining Honoka's incredibly pure feelings for Tatsuya. She then goes on about how much Honoka loves Tatsuya as the embarrassed Honoka is held back by Miyuki and Erika. From how it was said, it's almost sounds like Honoka wants to be Tatsuya's Property of Love.
Novels & Manga
- The Reminiscence manga adaptation shows us Miyuki's look of complete bemusement as her brother, who has never shown any emotion in her presence but mild annoyance, pulls her into a hug after she nearly dies.
- Just after the competition, Juumonji calls Tatsuya to a private conversation only for him to be a Shipper on Deck for Tatsuya to ship him with either Mayumi or Mayumi's sisters. Tatsuya was bewildered at that.
- In order to get back at Tatsuya for calling her small, Mayumi makes some super-bitter chocolates for him on Valentine's day. Said chocolate has lots of caffeine in it.
- Poor Hattori was used as a test run for those chocolates.
- While in a room together, Mayumi teasingly asks why Tatsuya isn't thrilled to be in the presence of a beautiful girl,and isn't making a move. He points out the security camera, which causes her to ask what if there wasn't one? Tatsuya trolls her by saying that if she was offering herself to him, he would not hesitate to partake of her. She freaks out and goes redder and redder with each word.
- In Episode 21: Mizuki and Mikihiko are eating lunch together. Even they aren't looking, everyone else is staring at them in either envy or excitement to see how it will go.
- In the movie, Tatsuya and Miyuki are having one of their usual subtext-laden moments before destroying Seventh Plague, and in the background Lina is looking on with an expression of intense exasperation.
- Amidst a soundtrack mainly comprised of hard-pumping electronic and dubstep compositions, there exists a piece of background music
that contains badly-played recorders and stock audio clips. And it's composed by Taku Iwasaki. Jarringly out-of-place does not even begin to describe it. - Erica Mendez lampshades that she's playing Erika Chiba on her Twitter feed. She mentions that it was almost close to being The Danza.
