• If you hit the trolls with a throwing stone, they believe a bug bit them.
• The fact that the "Over Hill and Under Hill" level happens entirely because Bilbo gets lost... attempting to find firewood for Bofur. At the end of level, you can finally give it to him.
  Bilbo: Here's your confusticated firewood!
  Bofur: Good lad.
• Balfor's insults to the Goblin Guards, when Bilbo comes to free him.
  • Then Bilbo actually frees him and Balfor massacres the guards. We don't see it, but we do see Bilbo getting quite stunned by the violence. In a game (heck, in a level) where he's done quite a bit of goblin killing himself. Makes you wonder what the hell we're missing.
• When Galion drinks from his cup, and falls over.
  Bilbo: Oh my. That was quick.
• The dwarves' comments while inside the barrels.
• Nori's warning to Bilbo about Smaug:
  Nori: Remember, stay away from his wings... and claws... and tail... and mouth...
