  • During "The Other Side", Carlyle dances on the bar... while the bartender hurriedly moves the bottle and glasses out of his way. And has to keep moving them as he dances closer to them, too! During the pause in the song, the bartender looks at Phillip as if to say, "Barnum's idea sounds like a sweet deal to me!"
    • Blink and you'll miss it, when Barnum hops on the table, Carlyle is shocked at him jumping up there to dance with a look of "Whoa, this is NOT what I expected"... only to do it himself on the bar less than a minute or so later.
  • Soft-spoken Charity getting in a high-precision burn is hilarious just because you don't expect snark from her.
Charity: So it's different from everything else?
  • During the scene when they are being introduced to the Queen, you can see The Bearded Lady flirting with the royal guards in the background.
  • Barnum, trying to rebuild the circus, tells the others the bank told him no — empathically and repeatedly.
Barnum: I'm really sorry to disappoint you all.
Charles: Don't worry about it, Barnum. We've gotten used to it by now.
(The other circus members chuckle, as Barnum grins.)
  • When Barnum is reluctant to take a chance on restarting the circus:
Barnum: Phillip, I can't let you gamble on me! I...
    Anne: (interrupting) Sure you can.
Lettie: Don't turn sensible on us now!
  • A rather adorable one in the ending. In context, everyone in Barnum's family is finally happy. He finally recognizes what's important in life, his wife is happier for it, and his daughters are overjoyed to have their dad part of their lives again. Comically enough, the whole family is so deliriously blissful, none of them are even fazed that the ballet recital they're attending has one of the daughters cast as a tree.
