  • In a moment that's both funny and heartwarming, (and possibly a nod to Netflix's baking show Is It Cake?) Morella lifts the family's spirits at their dinner with a cake shaped like a book on pharmaceutical law, while Roderick amusedly feigns disbelief at the likeness. The coffee cup next to the book is cake, too.
Leo (looking over the non-disclosure agreement): Wait, is this also cake?
  • During the same party, Pym hands out stacks of non-disclosure agreements and, in doing so, taps Tamerlane hard on her forehead. Up to this moment the characters have not interacted on-screen, but she reacts with a troubled look into thin air, as though pondering what she's done (recently) to deserve it. Word of God is that this was an accident on the part of Hamill and a hilarious ad-lib on the part of Sloyan.
  • Juno tries her best to reassure Roderick about the impending family dinner. Fast forward to the dinner itself, she's assisting to the bickering with the look of someone who's trying their best not to retch.
  • At the end of Roderick's rambling When Life Gives You Lemons... speech, the camera cuts back to Dupin, who is staring at him in literal open-mouthed shock as he tries to process what he just heard.
  • When Camille goes to talk to Leo after Perry's death, only to find him having missed her text while on edibles and gaming:
Camille: Perry's dead, the family's fucked, you're the frontline of my PR campaign and you just took an edible?
    Leo: ...You want some?
Camille: ...I mean, yeah, I want some.
    • After partaking, a much mellower Camille promises to push Leo's PR gathering to an afternoon time (she had been very adamant about it being in the morning when she arrived at Leo's place).
  • Camille's childish rant after she discovers both of her assistants have fallen in love with each other, and both want to have their job involving any intimacy with Camille taken from their consent form, is both entertaining and hilarious to watch:
Camille: I think it's really fucking convenient that you two were excited when you signed your NDAs and your consent forms, and that you two fell in love, Tina! One month after I finished paying off your student debt, TINA!
Beth: My name isn't Tina. You know that my name is Beth!
Camille: I don't give a shit, BETH! Dammit, Toby, and fucking 'Tina' makes me laugh! So at work, YOU'RE. FUCKING. TINA!
  • While looking through the security footage from Camille's death, Roderick asks Arthur if they have audio. The usually cool and stoic Pym Reaper has to awkwardly explain that that's not really something most security cameras do. At all.
    Roderick: Enhance.
Arthur: That also isn't really a thing.
Roderick: What, you can't enhance this image? You see it all the time on TV. They hit a button, it enhances it.
Arthur (shrugging awkwardly): You can zoom in, but that doesn't actually enhance it.
Madeline: Well then please zoom in, Arthur.
    Arthur: Alright, fine.

  • Juno's Butt-Monkey status comes to a head during Tamerlane's product launch, where Verna decides to sit right behind her, so every time Tammy freaks out Juno thinks it's being directed at her. It reaches its crescendo when Tammy throws her mic stand at Verna and ends up bonking Juno on the head.
  • In the middle of an otherwise very tense scene where Frederick is continuing to torture his wife, he takes a moment to share his genuine and complete bewilderment at the news he's just received about his sister's death.
Frederick: I heard Tamerlane killed herself with a fireplace poker and, I swear to God, I can't...I can't figure out what that means. I mean, how do you...how do you even do that?

  • When Arthur Pym goes to confront Verna, she reveals to him the nature of her deal with the Ushers and how they are able to avoid punishment for their crimes. As she told one of her "clients," they could "Shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not be arrested." Pym asks her if his debt is about to be paid soon because even he has his limits.
