• In the first chapter, Lorna and Geezer attempt to flee the Men in Grey, using whatever they have at their disposal in terms of weapons. At one point, Geezer starts bombing the Mi G with whole salmon.
• Lorna getting pissed that Von Rached won't stop casually reading her mind, so she starts thinking (and insulting) him in Irish.
• Katje managing to surprise Von Rached, when she misunderstands his intentions for having her take off her shirt (she thinks he wants sex, and immediately starts negotiating a system of payment). That's not what he meant at all, but he's happy to run with it.
• Lorna, Ratiri, and Geezer's reaction to finding out Katje had sex with Von Rached: they're like three children trying to get away from someone who has cooties. Katje just brushes it off, because business is business. Special points to the tinfoil hat Lorna makes, in an attempt to block out Katje's thoughts, which of course does nothing. Von Rached's reaction the thing is basically "WTF....oh."
• Lorna's reaction to Ratiri's mention that his deceased wife's mother hated him is to say, "You're a mother's wet dream" and immediately realize That Came Out Wrong.
