Prologue

  • Justin introduces us to Ol' Joshy and his "coalition of idiots" when they decide the best way to deal with the Blink sharks is to fight them with psychic powers.
    • When the community holds a discussion about this, one says that either Joshy actually will manage to take care of the Blink sharks... or the Blink sharks will take care of Joshy. Either way, that's one of their problems solved.
Justin-as-Community Member: We have not solved anything here tonight. Thank you all for your time.
    • A storm actually does get rid of the Blink sharks, at least temporarily, and Joshy naturally claims all the credit. Everyone in the community knows he's full of shit.
  • Justin refers to himself as the oldest brother and best father of those present, to which Clint objects.
Justin: You raised podcasters, bud. Calm down. You had three chances and all you achieved was podcasters!
  • Brother Seldom completely losing his temper and ranting about Joshy, a Mood Whiplash from the otherwise academic and very calm exposition he provides.

The Gallery Job

  • Upon hearing Devo's first line and his French accent, Griffin takes a breath, and then reminds Travis he has one chance to back out and give his character a new voice. Travis chooses to commit.
  • Right off the bat, Zoox is just way, way too eager to threaten someone with his crossbow, to the point where even Amber has to tell him to chill.
  • When the party and Guthrie arrive at the destroyed gallery, they find a pirate ship has beaten them to it, and they call their ship to announce that they've called "dibs." Devo responds with, "Double dibs."
Emery: Just hold on one second. [Emery/Griffin moves away from the microphone] They did—they did double dibs. I know. I KNOW! Oh, that's great. That's great. Are you sure tha—are you sure that's a thing? Okay. [he comes back] Triple dibs.
    Amber: Quadruple dibs.
    Emery: DAMMIT.
Zoox: [whispering] Be ready with "dibs infinity."
  • "Everybody got a knife!" Which inevitably and quickly backfires on the players when "everybody" includes everybody, including their enemies and an octopus (who is their enemy).
  • "Hey, remember that episode of TAZ where Justin's character nutted so hard she died?"
  • Devo's cover story: Jack Noir, Private Investigator! In the absolute worst American accent known to man.
  • When debating what to call the team's ship, Clint, Justin, and Travis propose "The Littlest Baby," which Griffin hates but quickly resigns himself to. Just before he can make it canon, Justin breaks down laughing and stops him, revealing it was all a bit, but the whole thing had hinged on Griffin putting up much more of a fight than he did, but apparently they'd broken him more than they realized in the years since they started doing TAZ. It turns out Travis put Clint and Justin up to it.
  • The introduction of Felix the catfish, proprietor of the Phantom Sea Coast Co.

The Infinite Clam

  • Justin completely beefs an intimidation check and gives us this gem:
Justin: There are Cathy comic strips scarier than what I just did!
  • Devo breaks it to Seldom that his first job is for the Benevolent Parish.
    Seldom: FUCK OFF!
  • Clint decides to have his character seduce a non-verbal organism, much to the disgust of his sons. If you think this sounds familiar, you're not alone.
Justin: How am I back here again?
  • Justin zones out for a bit and somehow completely misses that the "lionfish" attacking the party is actually a ship, being Late to the Realization for quite awhile, prompting Travis to exasperatedly ask, "Do you only pay attention when your character is actively doing something?"
  • The Reveal that the Infinite Clam leads to (or is somehow part of) the Trash Hole from the prologue.
  • "Urchin has a very complicated relationship with his father!"
  • "VIBE CHECK!"
