  • Amber scaring the living shit out of Guthrie after having enough of his lies.
  • While fighting with Teddy and Crumm in Episode 9, Devo uses Words of Terror for the first time, and shows us why the College of Whispers is not to be trifled with.
Devo: I have had it up to here today. I have had to talk to the person that I hate most in this entire world, we have been sucked into a giant clam, we were attacked by a lionfish, which apparently, was being piloted by one of yours as we came here to help, you shot us with a slug launcher, and now you attack my friend. If you do one more thing, we will wipe you out of existence!
  • After Orleen uses some magic to control Zoox and Amber, Amber puts a knife to his throat and makes it very clear that if he tries to pull that shit on her again, he will regret it.
I got four arms and zero fucks. Cappa?
  • Episode 12 gives us a CMOA for each player character:
    • Amber Gris faces off against A FREAKIN' BLINK SHARK. How does she win? By deactivating her vapor suit while submerged in Ether water, swimming up to the shark, and then reactivating her vapor suit while her arm is inside its mouth. The resulting blast of magic tears its lower jaw straight off its face.
    • Devo earns his by using himself as a magical conduit to transfer the compression magic out of the Coriolis's engine, through his own body (losing half his hit points in the process), and into one of its bombs. The explosion from that bomb kills the Infinite Clam in one hit.
    • Zoox is trapped in a psychic battle with the Clam, which is attempting to take over his mind. He handles this by dropping his guard entirely and mentally embracing the Clam in an effort to show it that it is not alone. When the Clam takes advantage of this to seize control of Zoox, it's left utterly shell-shocked by the sheer emptiness of the just-assimilated Brinearr's mind, reduced to a quivering wreck by its brief encounter with a loneliness far greater than even it has ever known. Crosses over with both Heartwarming and Tearjerker.
