  • And after managing to destroy the hovercraft, looking back at every bad thing that has happened, her only response? "... fuck".
• Howard fobs off some of his daughter's battered teen magazines on Michelle for reading material. Michelle's response by way of protest: defacing the magazines' saccharine illustrations with Mad Max-esque post-apocalyptic wardrobes.
  • Having taken all the magazines' quizzes and read the articles, Emmett says he can now braid Michelle's hair.
• Emmett talking about how the cat in the puzzle is missing an eye.
• Howard pretty much saying "Don't get stuck if you're stuck."
• Emmett talking about wanting to get tattoos, including having his own name tattooed across his forehead.
• The game of Charades, where Howard makes threatening remarks about "always watching" and "always know what [Emmett and Michelle] are up to", causing Emmett to think he's cottoned on to their plans, played for deep suspense... until Michelle realizes he's just still playing his turn.
  Michelle: "Santa Claus! You're Santa Claus!"
  • Howard then goes on to point out that it was Emmett's turn to to go and she excuses herself by saying she was excited.
    Howard: Yeah, well, I'm keeping that point!
• Howard apologizing to Michelle for panicking and causing the accident. "I know I seem like a sensible guy, but at the time, I wasn't myself."
