• Don't get in the way of Perry White when he craves for coffee:
  Perry: Olsen?! Olsen, do I drink my coffee cold?
  Jimmy Olsen: Uh, well, uh, no, chief. Mr. Chief. Mr. White.
  Perry: Then bring it here.
• When Steve Lombard hits on Lois, Clark burns his chair's leg stealthily, and Steve falls down.
  Lois Lane: You should've warned him about the chairs, Clark.
  Clark: You lean too far back and they tip.
• Cat tries to draw Clark's attention to her boobs. And she fails. So she says...
  Cat: You're from another planet, Clark.
  Clark: That's what they tell me.
  • The way she tries (and fails) also deserves mention, as she suggests Clark to try lasik, noting the wonders surgery did for her while showing off her breasts. Clark just pretends not to get the innuendo, answering he didn't know she wore glasses.
• In Action Comics #868, Supergirl meets Cat Grant and accidentally reveals that her boobs are fake when she naively says out loud that "My X-ray vision is picking up some weird plastics in your –"
• This exchange:
  Lois: Just try to be back before somebody throws Lombard off the roof. He'll need you to catch him.
  Clark: And you think I would?
  Lois: After you let him a fall a bit.
  Clark: How about a lot?
  Lois: Only If I can watch.
• And this:
  Ron: A little volume control would be nice, Steve.
  Steve: Ah, go read a book on the evils of American society, Troupe. Watching the game's my job.
• After Superman enlarges Metropolis, Steve is going to hug Cat, who warns him "Don't even think about it, Lombard."
• Lois is complaining to Clark about Cat and Steve, (referring to them as the "cougar" and the "cowboy" respectively), and feels that Cat is losing it. She then quips that she probably has "TMZ" tattooed on her butt. Clark looks over and says, "I don't see it." Causing Lois to swat him.
