  • Chapter 1:
    • Everyone treats Jin-Woo as a celebrity when he arrives at the Gate. It isn't because he is skilled, it's because he is so weak that when other Hunters see that if he is on the team they know the Gate should be very easy.
  • Chapter 55:
Jin-Woo: Did you get some sleep last night?
Song-Yi: I was unable to sleep.
Jin-Woo: You must be tired, get some rest in the car.
    Song-Yi: How about you, Oppa?
Jin-Woo: Just a quick nap. It was already past 4AM when I got home.
Jin-Ho: Night? Unable to sleep? Tired? He got home at 4AM? And he said she was just a friend of his sister...!
    • He then tries to subtly point out to Jin-Woo that this is kind of illegal, only for the latter to get confused.
    Jin-Ho: Um... Hyung-nim?
    Jin-Woo: Yeah?
    Jin-Ho: Han Song-Yi is a minor.
    Jin-Woo: And?
Jin-Ho: ...Never mind. (internally) He's not normal. I shouldn't judge Hyung-nim with my ordinary standards...
  • Chapter 63: Choi Jong-In's face at Jin-Woo walking past him after casually rejecting the offer of joining the Hunters Guild.
Choi Jong-In: Chief Woo Jin-Chul, did I forget to introduce myself just now?
  • Chapter 65: Go Gun-Hee's reaction to Jin-Woo joining the Hunters Guild's mining team.
Go Gun-Hee: An S-Rank Hunter is working as a miner... He's a very difficult man to understand.
  • Chapter 71:
    • Jin-Woo piques Hae-In's curiosity so she goes to see the mining team at the second A Rank gate to talk to him. When she learns he took the place of a porter who didn't show she decides to go into the gate as well. Realizing she doesn't have a weapon due to it being her day off she asked the mining chief for one, so he provides her with a magic pickaxe. Her reaction sells it.
    • After deciding against it, she prepares to go inside empty handed, but stalls. The mining chief asks if she would prefer to at least have the pickaxe. So, she embarrassingly turns around, takes the pickaxe, thanks him and quickly goes into the gate.
  • Chapter 75: After watching Jin-Woo defeat the dungeon boss singlehandedly, Hae-In is so shocked that she forgets she's holding the pickaxe. When one of her guild members asks her about it, she gets very flustered and asks if "he" (Jin-Woo) noticed.
  • Chapter 76:
    • Baek Yoon-Ho and Choi Jong-In trade barbs about their guilds needing help from Jin-Woo. Jong-In reacts with a stone face. Yoon-Ho's reaction is... not quite so subtle.
Baek Yoon-Ho: I've heard the news. The Hunters Guild also had a close call.
Choi Jong-In: It's nothing compared to the White Tiger Guild who lost their A-Rank recruit.
    • Being perfectly aware that the other intends to recruit Jin-Woo at any cost, their argument escalates as even Jong-In drops his stoic facade.
Choi Jong-In: Due to prior moral obligations, I want to bring that person into our Guild at any cost.
    (Beat)
Baek Yoon-Ho: My Guild suffered casualties. Don't you think we should recruit that man as a part of the reinforcements?
Choi Jong-In: What are you doing that requires an S-Rank as reinforcement? Do you plan on going to war somewhere or something?
Baek Yoon-Ho: What about you? Since when did you start being so morally obligated?
    • Eventually they are joined by Lim Tae-Gyu, Guild Master of the Fiend Guild, who asks if they are fighting over Lee Min-Sung (who's about to be re-evaluated that day and is going to join Fiend). Both Yoon-Ho and Jong-In tell him to stuff it.
Yoon-Ho and Jong-In: (internally) What's with this bastard? (out loud) WE DON'T CARE ABOUT LEE MIN-SUNG, LEE MIN-GYU OR WHATEVER!
Lim Tae-Gyu: (unnerved) What's wrong with these guys?
  • Chapter 77: Sung Jin-Woo is about to leave the Hunters' Association when Baek Yoon-Ho warns him against leaving through the main gate. Jin-Woo figures that he's trying to tell him he'll regret not listening to his offer - and when he opens the door, he's almost blinded by the flashes of dozens of journalists. Yoon-Ho's face in the webcomic feels like he's just barely holding back from facepalming.
  • Chapter 78:
    • Lee Min-Sung, annoyed that the attention of his Rank Evaluation was interrupted, goes on a long speech about how he plans to stop being a movie star so as to become The Cape, claiming that even if he was a low rank Hunter he would fight the Gates for the people - which is complete crock, since already knows he's an A-Rank, but he figures this will get the news focused on him... only for the one thing that can usurp said news (the reveal of an S-Rank) to immediately destroy any chance of him getting any attention, causing him to suffer from a massive Color Failure.
    • One of Sung Jin-Woo's coworkers when he was on the mining team was completely convinced that Jin-Woo was a criminal after he was on the receiving end of a Death Glare from him. When someone on the team states that Jin-Woo is in the news, he shouts out how he knew he was a criminal and demands to know what he was arrested for. When its revealed he is an S-Rank, he too suffers from a massive Color Failure.
  • Chapter 79: Yoo Jin-ho is kicked out of his home by his father after he stated he wanted to help run Jin-Woo's guild. He comes to see if Jin-Woo will allow him to stay, only for Jin-Woo to immediately close the door on him. When his sister asks if he knew who that was, he pretends he had never seen him before.
  • Chapter 80: Jin-Woo looks over Tusk's guards he turned into shadows and wonders aloud why he only has three when he remembers fighting four. One of them gestures upward, and he realizes he must have forgotten to take the fourth guard's shadow because he hit the guy so hard, he got stuck in the ceiling.
  • Chapter 82:
  • Chapter 83: Jin-Woo meets with Esil's father, stating he wants the Entry Pass to the next level and to borrow Esil for a bit, causing her to start to blush. In his mind he wants to use her help in locating all of the Entry Passes as quickly as possible, her father clearly sees that request as something else. Jin-Woo doesn't realize why her father is angry but quickly takes his hand off of her shoulder.
  • Chapter 84: Jin-Woo really needs to be more clear with his words, as pretty much every reply he gives Esil makes her turn bright red.
  • Chapter 87: Even after everything, Jin-Woo still can't get Esil's clan name right.
  • Chapter 88:
    • Esil points out the fact that Jin-Woo has a terrible memory when it comes to names.
    • The Shadow Knight Jin-Woo exchanged places with is understandably confused as to what happened.
  • Chapter 94: While Jin-Woo was in the Dungeon, his sister left the house a complete mess. He just silently grabs her face in annoyance when he sees it. Especially since this was the first time their mother has been home in 4 years.
  • Chapter 102: Go Gun-Hui gets so excited at Jin-Woo's arrival to the fight that he accidentally breaks his chair's armrest.
  • Chapter 104: Jin-Woo states it probably wasn't right of him to use his ability to bring back a dead human. Cut to Iron just looking confused.
  • Chapter 106: When Jin-Woo tells his knights to not take the Crystals, they give body reactions as if stating "all the work we've done to collect them for nothing".
  • Chapter 112:
    • Yoo Jin-ho seems to spend most of his time running the new guild by threatening to sue anyone who slanders Jin-Woo.
    • Despite how blatantly obvious Hae-In's crush on Jin-Woo is, Jin-Woo still doesn't see it.
  • Chapter 113:
    • Hae-In and Jin-Woo use his Exchange to go to the Hunter Training Area. At that time Yoo Jin-ho walks in with a plate of food only to be startled by the High Ogre Shadow Jin-Woo exchanged with. Said Shadow just grabs the food and eats it plate in all.
    • When Hae-In states she left her weapon at home since she was not planning on fighting today, Jin-Woo asks if he means her pickaxe, a Call-Back to a previous chapter. She flusters until Jin-Woo states he was only joking.
    • Go Gun-hee feels the presence of Hunters in one of the training areas. When he recalls that no one was scheduled for that time, he gets live feed sent to his office. When he sees it's Jin-Woo and Hae-In, he recalls when she was asking about Jin-Woo. He puts two-and-two together and orders the videos to be turned off. A few seconds later the whole building shakes and he just comments "As expected. It's good to be young", as if he thinks they're doing something else.
  • Chapter 115: Hae-In's utter freak out when she realized she basically confessed her feelings to Jin-Woo.
  • Chapter 123:
    • Beru is really interested in the movie Jin-Woo's sister fell asleep to.
    • Jin-Woo is trying out his new upgrade to his Shadow Storage, which allows him to see through them if he has them stored in someone else's shadow. Hae-In turns out to be taking a bath at the time, causing Jin-Woo to turn bright red and think about a way to apologize to her later.
  • Chapter 129: Jin-Woo still can't get Esil's clan name right.
  • Chapter 132: Jin-Woo reproaches Beru for watching dramas while he was supposed to watch over Jin-Ah, which makes the Shadow sweat nervously.
  • Chapter 140:
    • Beru's expression when Adam White sits next to Jin-Woo on his flight to America. In a panic, Beru begs him to remember Adam White's name.
  • Chapter 141: Upon being told by one of his assistants that the Ahjin Guild has not applied for Raid permits since Jin-Woo returned from Japan, Choi Jong-In remarks to himself that "one would be no different from a simple ape" if they were to find that to be cause for celebration, like the rest of the major Guilds who suddenly don't have to compete with Jin-Woo.
Assistant: Even so, our profits have increased by 40% thanks to the lack of competition from the Ahjin Guild!
Choi Jong-In: Found a simple ape...
    Assistant: Pardon me?
    Choi Jong-In: No, it's nothing.
  • Chapter 154:
    • Jin-Woo considers blocking the History channel due to Beru constantly quoting them, causing Beru to look like a sad child.
    • After training with Beru, causing a lot of damage to the training area, he sheepishly calls up the Chairman and promises to lend him his shadows to repair the place.
  • Chapter 155:
    • Jin-Woo goes to an amusement park with Hae-In, with all the Crush Blush that ensues as she says she wants to go on every ride... and then they both just have completely blank faces, since as Hunters it's basically nothing all that amazing compared to their jobs.
    • For that matter, Jin-Woo using his Shadows as a wall of bodyguards to make sure his fans don't pester him or Hae-In.
Hae-In: Doesn't this make us stand out more?
  • Chapter 168: The Shadow Soldiers fight for who gets to stand at which side of Jin-Woo.
  • Chapter 184:
    • As the Titans invade and try to take over the Earth, Jin-Woo does his usual Shadow Monarch thing. When the leader gets arrogant and attempts to proclaim I Am Not Left-Handed as he shrinks down to human scale for his full power— he's suddenly decapitated and eaten within the next panel by the Shadow Soldiers, who ask if Jin-Woo was attempting to converse with the Titan King. He just nonchalantly brushes it off.
    • What prompts an Oh, Crap! expression from a man that has become the embodiment of a Physical God that has altered time and saved Earth? Seeing Iron as a normal track runner after all this time in his original human identity of Kim Cheol, without the Jerkass factor applied to him as a Hunter in the first timeline. Of all the things to run into, it's the resurrection of one of his finest troops, and Jin-Woo definitely doesn't know how to handle it.
  • Chapter 186: The Shadow Soldiers tease their master for being tricked into losing a footrace against Hae-In, who used his feelings for her to make him stay in one spot while she ran to the goal. Making it funnier is Beru being the only Shadow Soldier to not tease their master and instead pleading with him to move and beat Hae-In.
  • Chapter 191:
    • Jin-Woo arrives home to find Bellion and Igrit arguing over whether his son should become a swordsman or an academic, respectively. When Jin-Woo argues that they should wait until Soo-Ho learns to walk before worrying about such things, Hae-In retorts that maybe Jin-Woo should come home early until their son learns to walk.
    • Which becomes hilarious when Soo-Ho learns how to fly. Upon hearing how much of a ruckus Soo-Ho is causing and how little hope Hae-In has of controlling the situation, Jin-Woo agrees to go home early.
    • Bellion and Igrit start arguing over whether Soo-Ho should train for aerial combat or to become a pilot. An exasperated Hae-In begs Jin-Woo to return home fast as she tries to clean up the mess Soo-Ho made.
  • Chapter 196: When Jin-Woo's son, Soo-Ho, finally manages to overcome the trial he'd been pulled into and defeats Igrit, he arrives in an alternate take of a destroyed city wreathed in flames and covered in demons. And, being well overleveled and carrying his father's legacy, it's such a Curb-Stomp Battle that he pulls off his best Saitama impression possible as he literally punches everything around him into gore in complete befuddlement at how weak everything was compared to his previous fights.
    • Even better, two chapters prior seemed to try to set up a Chekhov's Gun in the form of a "Knight Killer" knife that resembles one of Jin-Woo's own specialty weapons. Seems perfect for fighting Igrit or the countless knights littering the halls, right? Soo-Ho mocks the knife, sticks to gauntlets thanks to his judo training, and eventually uses his raw potential, survival instincts and his excess leveling to just overpower the trial instead. Igrit is terrified because of this. Like Father, Like Son.
    • Esil shows up again, and nearly gets her head punched off by Soo-Ho on instinct. When she tries to dissuade him from that and talk about a banquet, he quickly points out that he's too young to drink and will pass in favor of heading through the nearby Gate while promising he'll come by later. Then Esil proceeds to get internally pouty at remembering that Jin-Woo also said he'd return and completely forgot to actually bother to come back to the Demon Realm again.
