  • Even better: The lens cap wasn't on in the previous shot (in fact, Polly's camera, the Argus C3, doesn't even have a lens cap), suggesting he's just messing with her.
• Polly is apparently wounded badly, but when Sky Captain helps her up, turns out she... shot a picture of the ground by accident. Even Joe bursts out laughing.
• After Dex disarms a death trap:
  Joe: Is it safe?
  Dex: Well, there's only one way to find out.
  [Polly takes Joe's hand and the two step across the threshold together, unharmed.]
  Dex: ...I meant throw something.
