    Esperanza's Route

    Darius's Route
  • After sending Cal into the bike shop to ask the heroine out for him, Darius wonders what took them so long. One of the dialogue options leads to this exchange:
MC: Cal was proposing, actually. We're on our way to the chapel right now.
Cal: [leaning in from off-screen] I don't believe in the institution of marriage.
  • Near the end of the first season, the cast piles into Darius's Jeep to race off after Nero. With Darius driving and the heroine in the front passenger's seat, Wrath, Cal, and Malakai are obliged to squeeze in together in the back, with Onyx "lounging across them like a melodramatic cat." Once again the sprites contribute to the comedy, all crammed in together against the Jeep background.
MC: (I admit, this isn't a badass march into battle.)

    Onyx's Route

    Malakai's Route
  • In episode 1, the troupe finish fighting the demons only to find themselves facing a lot of police with their guns trained on them. They play off the fight as a show, busting out into acrobatics and landing with their arms spread wide, awaiting applause. It works — the crowd starts to clap, and the police lower their weapons and join in. The troupe thank the crowd and plug their show.
Darius: If you're craving more, then come join our Night of Sin circus!
Onyx: Wait, where did all these free tickets come from? [tickets rain from the ceiling, sending the crowd scrambling for them]
  • At the party in episode 10:
Darius and Onyx are in the middle of a very loud conversation… Patting each other's shoulders over and over and probably caught in a feedback loop of sincere drunken compliments. Cal is… dancing, I guess? It's more of a sarcastic imitation of dancing than anything else. He looks a little like one of those inflatable tube men.

    Cal's Route

    Yvette's Route
  • The heroine watches Yvette meeting with a woman who, unbeknownst to the heroine, is a demon. The woman starts to get aggressive, lunging forward against the table between them. Yvette responds by leaning forward over the table, taking off her gloves, and flexing her hand threateningly. The heroine, lacking any knowledge of the supernatural implications of this, thinks:
MC: (Either something's going on that I don't understand or there's about to be a serious arm-wrestling throwdown in here.)
