Issue #1

  • In the midst of terminating Jen's employment at the DA's office, Blake Tower mentions how Jen crushed one of the photocopy machines while making pictures of her butt. When Jen protests that it wasn't her, Tower informs her that it was a color copier.
  • Jen's reaction when she gets dumped by her supermodel boyfriend for not having "depth".
She-Hulk: But you're a model... An underwear model!

Issue #3

  • Jen and Pug go to the Avengers Mansion to get back some stuff for Jen. Since the mansion's security system doesn't recognize Pug, it designates him as an intruder and attacks him with robotic arms, requiring She-Hulk to come to his rescue.
She-Hulk: Ohmigosh! Are you okay?
Pug: Yeah. Feel like an idiot though. Here I go saying how I'm gonna watch your back and then you save me from these overgrown coat hangers.
Pug: You people just make up words, don't you?
  • Jarvis then rushes outside to see what all the commotion is about. And he's wearing a pot on his head.
Jarvis: It's cast in an invulnerable forbushion alloy.
She-Hulk: He's right. We sound like idiots.
  • The pot being "forbushion" is a sly reference to Irving Forbush's "superhero" identity Forbush-Man, which is just Irving wearing a pot on his head with eyeholes cut out.
  • The case of the week is Jen and Mallory defending a man against murder, with the victim's ghost offering to testify on plaintiff's behalf. As you can imagine, the comic exploits the Marvel Universe's lack of consequences when it comes to death for laughs.
    • The prosecution argues that the deceased cannot give testimony in a court. Jen and Mallory counter by calling Ben Grimm, who had recently died and come back to life, to the stand. Ben also lists a number of superheroes who have died, including She-Hulk who has died twice.
    • The prosecution argues that Ben's testimony has no bearing on the case, citing that dying and coming back to life is something that happens to superhumans and not ordinary people. Jennifer then cites the case of Thanos v. The Universe, in which Thanos killed half the universe and then they were brought back to life. Jen then asks everyone in the courtroom who died and came back during the event to raise their hand. One of these people is a member of the prosecution team, much to the annoyance of the lead prosecutor.
    • The victim, Bailey Briggs, has trouble being sworn in as a witness because his hand keeps passing through the bible.

Issue #4

  • Ditto trolls Jameson by shapeshifting into Clint Eastwood to serve Jameson his papers to inform him that he is being sued by Spider-Man.
  • Pug brings a list of front-page stories printed by the Daily Bugle to get Spider-Man's account of the events they reported on. We never actually see what these stories refer too, but it doesn't make Spider-Man's reaction any less funny.
Spider-Man: That never happened. Neither did that. Or that. Or that. Okay, that happened, but not that way. And that did happen. But I'm not crazy about that photo. Makes me look fat.
  • Spider-Man's response when asked by Pug why he thinks Jameson hates him so much.
Spider-Man: At first, I didn't really know. But over the years, and after some serious thought and soul-searching, I think I've figured it out. The real reason Jonah hates me... is because I'm black.
    Jameson: I-I-I didn't know...I mean...I have nothing against...I never would have...some of my best friends are...uh...oh
    Spider-Man: Kidding. Sorry.
  • In the end Spider-Man decides to settle out of court by having Jameson issue a public apology while wearing a chicken suit.

Issue #5

  • Jen's latest client is Bobo, a chimpanzee who was mutated into being more intelligent and humanoid than the High Evolutionary. However, Bobo still retains some aspects of his animal instincts such as throwing poop at people, which earns him his third strike. He argues it is in his nature to throw poop at people. When Jen tells him that using that argument will simply mean he will be put in a zoo instead of jail, he flips out and attacks her prompting Pug to step in.

Issue #7

  • Pip the Troll convinced Gladiator to fight the Champion of the Universe by telling Gladiator the Champion mocked his hairdo.

Issue #9

  • We get two Funny Background Events in this issue. One is Howard the Duck yelling at George Lucas for not getting him a trilogy and prequel movies. The other is Valkyrie being told she needs a license to operate a winged horse.
  • Hercules is being sued by Constrictor for $18 million in damages for his injuries. Mallory Brook tries to appeal to Constrictor's sentimental side by showing him all the good Hercules has done, including the time Hercules saved Hackensack where Constrictor's mother lives. It seems to work...until an overly enthusiastic Hercules thumps Constrictor on the back, injuring him further. Smash Cut to a courtroom where lawsuit money has been raised to $168 million.
