Ruby Rose of Class 1-A

• Just as the original canon, Ruby's first day at UA goes horribly wrong. After Yang ditches her to go hang out with Mirio and the others, a dazed and confused Ruby then stumbles right into Bakugo who then proceeds to chew her out. In her nervousness, she sneezes and accidentally sets off her quirk. Then, she collides with Bakugo, who then collides with Todoroki. Both of their quirks go off, which then causes an explosion followed by a flurry of snow. Before Ruby has the chance to apologize to Todoroki, an enraged Bakugo gets up and proceeds to yell at her some more. While trying to defuse the situation, Ruby inadvertently presses Bakugo's Berserk Button by bringing up the "Sludge-Villain Incident." Fortunately, just as Bakugo is about to blow Ruby off the map, Weiss intervenes and separates the two by restraining Bakugo with one of her glyphs.
• Ruby's first impression of Bakugo is that his haircut resembles a Pomeranian. Henceforth, Ruby always refers to him as "Angry Pomeranian."
• After the mock battles, Ruby chats with Ochako and ends up calling her a friend. The sudden realization and shock that she already made a friend causes Ruby to have a mental shutdown. Jiro snaps her out of it by shocking her with her earphone jack.

A Peace Sign to the Sky

• The food fight between members of class 1-A is both funny and awesome. What's even better is that it was Iida who started the fight. Of course, everyone gets in trouble afterwards, but Midnight manages to convince Aizawa to go easy on them by bringing up a similar incident that he, himself, was involved in.
• The Omake at the end of the second chapter shows Tensei getting revenge on his younger brother for ratting him out over his food fight with Aizawa and the others in his class when he was younger. After Tenya returns home covered in food stains, he sees his older brother sitting in the kitchen with a very smug grin on his face. Despite his desperate pleas, Tensei merely takes a sip of his coffee and immediately calls their mother prompting Tenya to flee to his room as if his life depended on it.
• At the end of the obstacle course section of the Sports Festival, Ruby has a less-than-graceful crossing the finish line by slipping on Todoroki's ice and crashing into Aoyama.
• In the aftermath of the battle with Stain, Todoroki volunteers to help carry a paralyzed Ruby. When Ruby asks if she really isn't that heavy, Todoroki responds that carrying her is like holding a pair of grapes.
• When Ruby's friends arrive for their study session, Taiyang decides to play up the embarrassing dad role for some good laughs.
• Ozpin learns the hard way that Aizawa, while a tough teacher, does care about his students, and he is not happy with All Might, Present Mic, and Ozpin going overboard during their fights in the final exams. It's one of the rare occasions that Ozpin shows fear.

I-Island Vacation

• When Kaminari tries to flirt with Yang, Weiss, and Blake at the same time, they all shoot him down at the same time. This leads to a very dejected Kaminari and a very amused Jiro and Ruby.
• After the the group heads to the arena where Bakugo and Kirishima are competing, Weiss, after some goading from Blake, decides to help Bakugo cool off by once again restraining him with her glyphs.
• Ruby is utterly horrified by the idea of Bakugo fighting Yang when Kirishima suggests it to her, mentioning that such a fight would probably destroy half the school.
• While everyone in Class 1-A is having their victory celebration party, Ruby accidentally lets it slip that Blake may or may not have a crush on Yang. When she realizes what she just said, she desperately tries to deny the whole thing but only succeeds in making things worse. Eventually, she flees the table while telling everyone to forget what they just heard and buries her face in the ice cooler out of sheer embarrassment.

Falling and Rising

• While asking Ruby about her hair color, Kirishima accidentally let's it slip that he dyes his hair.
  Ruby: "Wait, Kirishima, do you -?"
  Kirishima: "Oh, look at that! The race is about to start, you should get to the other side of the pool—!"
• During the pool races, Ruby gets increasingly frustrated by the fact that all of the winners, with the exception of Midoriya, didn't actually get in the water. She even tries to push Bakugo into the pool, only for Kirishima to beat her to it.
• During the bus ride to the training camp, Ruby reveals that she is incapable of swearing, much to Bakugo's amusement.
  Ruby: "That doesn't change the fact that you just told Kirishima to eff off."
  Bakugo: "I told him to fuck off, not eff off."
  Ruby: "That's what I said."
  Bakugo: "No, you didn't! What? Can't curse? It's not that hard! Just say fuck."
  Ruby: "Those words do not exist in my vocabulary… and my uncle said that if I use them, my lips would fall off."
  Bakugo: [There is a Beat then he starts laughing hysterically]
  Ruby: "It's not funny, Bakugo, knock it off!"
• When the girls of 1-A and 1-B get together for a slumber party, Mina brings up the topic of romance and wants to know who everyone's crushes are. Seeing how uncomfortable Ochako is, Ruby tries to cover for her by denying any crushes on their part. This backfires spectacularly as now Mina and Hagakure are suspicious of Ruby and immediately start grilling her instead. Ruby's insistent denials fail to convince either of them and the questions only stop when a flustered Ruby smacks Mina with a pillow.
• When Ruby tries to sneak out her house to join Todoroki and Kirishima, she tries to climb out the window only to realize that her room is on the second story. She flat out admits that she didn't really think it through. Kirishima then tells her to just jump so he can catch her. Afterwards, Todoroki then points out that he could have just made an ice ramp for her to slide down. Ruby mentally facepalms at this realization.
• When Ruby goes to her sister's dorm to ask Weiss for help with her costume, she ends up accidentally scaring Tamaki as he and Yang were leaving for their work study.
• After getting chewed out by Aizawa and given house-arrest for their fight, Ruby then realizes that word is going to get back to her family about what happened and she is going to be in so much trouble.
