Funny / Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World

Go To

  • Pocahontas is freaking out about her trip to England to Grandmother Willow, spouting all sorts of "what if" questions. Grandmother Willow then says "What if the sky turns to fire and your nose falls off?" Cue Meeko protectively covering his own nose.
  • Nearly the entire "What a Day in London" number. Pocahontas is causing a big disturbance in London while John Rolfe is exasperatedly saying "Pocahontas, wait!" - trying to keep up with her.
John Rolfe: (Pocahontas is currently up a tree) Wouldn't you care to join me here, on the ground, this instant?
  • Pocahontas is getting dressed for the ball but walks into John Rolfe's room saying, "how do I look?" - only wearing her undergarments.
  • A likely unintentional example, but the animators must've just went all out animating Ratcliffe's mouth because he gives the hugest, weirdest, and just downright hilarious grins in the movie!
  • Before Pocahontas' departure, Wahunsenacah gives Uttamatomakkin a staff, and tells him to cut a notch in it for every white man he meets. During "What A Day In London," he makes so many marks that he ends up with what amounts to a toothpick. And what does he do then? He just flicks it away.
  • Pocahontas' first meeting with John Rolfe is full of some magnificent Snark-to-Snark Combat. He expects a thanks for helping stop a riot in the Jamestown village, but Pocahontas just chews him out for getting in the way.
John Rolfe: I beg your pardon!
    Pocahontas: Alright. You have it.
John Rolfe: I was trying to help.
Pocahontas: I did not ask for your help.
John Rolfe: Well, you didn't say, "Thank you," either. What happened to manners and etiquette?
Pocahontas: Well, since you are new here, I don't expect you to have them yet.
  • As Pocahontas prepares to turn herself in to the English court, Smith thinks it's a terrible idea. He tells Rolfe to "tell her she's crazy". Rolfe does so, but in a way that sounds like he's turned on. Pocahontas smiles while Smith rolls his eyes and Facepalms.
  • Amid Mrs. Jenkins' Running Gag of putting on tea for everyone, she does so for Flit, Meeko, and Percy too. And you see Meeko stirring his tea glumly and Flit sipping his in the style of an old-fashioned "drinking bird" toy.
