Fridge Horror
- We don't get to see any of John Smith's old shipmates from the first film return in this movie. The ending to the first movie implicitly has Ratcliffe threaten the mutinous crew that he'd have them hanged when they returned to England. The fact that this film opens up with Ratcliffe trying to have John Smith assassinated, and that Ratcliffe is once more in a position of power, may imply he's done the same to the rest of his former crew.
- Or if we're going off of history, it's possible most (if not all) died from the various illnesses (mainly malaria and dysentery) in addition to starvation during their first winter (which they only barely survived because Powhatan provided them with enough supplies to last the winter).
