"What beautiful fireworks" - actual line
  • In one episode, an escaped convict flees from jail and to Persia's house. Later, Persia arrives and fails to realize that he's a fugitive, even after he brandishes a knife, breaks things, and threatens to kill her. And Persia still doesn't realize he's a threat.
Criminal: I escaped from the police station.
    Persia: So you're a cop?
  • The convict begging Persia not to turn him in.
Criminal: I am being chased by bad guys who despite being police, are bad.
    Persia: Right.
Criminal: Despite being innocent, they captured me and made me eat smelly food.
  • Persia agrees to willingly house the convict, because he made her promise and she never breaks promises. She then bars Riki and Gaku from entering to hide him. Riki and Gaku misunderstand this as him holding her hostage (and not her doing it out of her own kindness) and decide to call the police.
  • When Gaku and Riki call the police, the criminal announces he will paint the wall red with Persia as he aims a gun at her. Simba sees this and attempts a Big Damn Heroes moment, but before he can Persia walks up to him and takes the gun out of his hand.
  • Persia holding a gun.
    Persia: What beautiful fireworks.
  • The police hear gunfire inside Persia's house. They think that the criminal is shooting her, but in reality she's the one blasting bullets at him and being very careless in doing so.
  • When the criminal continues to act belligerent, Persia's three kappa bring a knife to her so she can throw it at him.
  • When the police outside demand that the criminal let his hostage go, Persia misinterprets this as her holding him hostage. She transforms into her Older Alter Ego and drives a getaway van with him inside. The other cops see him in there and follow it. After the criminal wakes up, he jumps out of the moving vehicle. When he's surrounded, he hugs the head cop and starts shivering. When Persia de-transforms and steps out of the vehicle, he gets even more frightened, grabs the cop's hand and pushes them both in the back of the cop car and then starts crying. His voice actor really sells it, with his voice getting louder and breaking.
    Criminal: Sir, please take me.
    Cop: Hey, calm down-
Criminal: I don't want to play hide and seek anymore!! *snivels*
  • As the criminal is being taken away, we see the police car, and it's bent up and battered as a result of the earlier Car Chase Scene.
  • In one episode, Persia is at a party with her friends and she decides to play hide and seek with her friends. However, the same time a vampire attacks and Persia is swept up in her usual magical girl escapades. By the end of it, the party has progressed, and an upset Dr. Moroi comes out and complains that Persia didn't find him so he ended up hiding for a long time.
  • In another episode Sayo knits a sweater for Riki. However, she leaves the window open and it flies out. Persia tries hard to retrieve it, to no avail. It turns out that the sweater actually landed on a nearby, low-facing tree where Riki and Sayo are walking. Riki climbs the tree to retreive it, but when he pulls the sweater, the thread starts unravelling. He keeps pulling until there's barely anything of the sweater left, and the branch snaps. Black Comedy indeed.
  • Afterwards, a concerned Sayo checks on Riki to see if he's okay.
Riki: (about the sweater) It's in pieces....
Sayo: That took me a long time to make...
Riki: Don't worry, you'll fix it. You're a woman, after all.
    Sayo:
Riki: (facial expression changes from normal to gonk)
    Sayo: Watch your mouth!
(punches Riki hard in the face, leaving him on the floor)
