• The protagonist names Ike while drugged.
• Jude has a literal Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny! moment, running away after a shiny Pokémon while yelling "Shiny!", causing the protagonist to crack up.
• While the protagonist is trying to think of a name for his Swablu, Jude starts humming songs in order to trick him into saying names. The protagonist's reactions are funny enough, but his downplayed Oh, Crap! when he finally gets tricked is the greatest part.
• The protagonist's reaction to watching The Slender Man Mythos.
• "Des, set the building on fire."
• The Running Gag of the protagonist never getting the Pokémon he wanted. Reaches hilarious levels with Swablu and Krabby. Also, he never gets to name them.
