Part 1

  • Skeletor's introduction in the first episode has him smuggling himself into Castle Grayskull disguised as one of He-Man's captured prisoners, only to reveal himself in grand boastful fashion — right before Sorceress cuts him off with a bolt of magic so quickly that it knocks him flat and leaves his Staff spinning in the air. It sets the tone for his character pretty well: someone who's not afraid to be humiliated or look ridiculous if it means a greater victory when his foes lower their guard.
Sorceress: Even on Teela's big day, Snake Mountain takes no rest, I see.
Prisoner: I see as well, Witch.
[He slips off his ropes and begins walking confidently, his voice changing with each step]
Skeletor: I see the Guardian of Grayskull... has been so easily fooled by my Shaping Staff!
[His rod and disguise meld away]
Skeletor: [In powerful, deep voice] Behold — the LORD of DESTRUCTION! Skeleto— [Gets violently blasted off-screen] OOOF!
    • Skeletor and Evil-Lyn also happen to be disguised as Spikor and Clawful, two somewhat less-loved Evil Warriors among the fandom.
  • Orko's Establishing Character Moment has him try to protect Cringer from the loud noises at the party by putting him in a soundproof bubble... which also turns out to be air-proof.
Orko: Does anyone have the power to help me save Cringer?
[someone pops the bubble with a simple needle. We then see that the one who did it was...]
Prince Adam: I have the power.
  • In a flashback scene, He-Man lamely taunts Skeletor about becoming a pirate by saying that Skeletor's face is already on the flag. Skeletor is briefly rendered speechless, unable to respond to something so stupid.
  • During the fight at Snake Mountain, Blast-Attak is accidentally armed and has to rush to disarm himself, and is physically relieved when he does. Apparently the life of a robot designed to purposely explode and be rebuilt is not a pleasant one.
  • As Teela and Andra escape Snake Mountain with a chalice that Tri-Klops had been using in his cult, he turns toward them, switches his normal eye to the wide-open eye just so he can narrow that eye angrily and glare at them.
  • On the way to Subternia, Teela and Evil-Lyn end up bickering, with Evil-Lyn accusing Teela of running away from her problems rather than owning up to them. Teela insists, unconvincingly, that she's found peace. Evil-Lyn snarks, "Says the warrior en route to hell."
  • Grayskull and Vikor giving Adam conflicting advice regarding Teela, after she walks out. "Go after her." "Give her space." Kuduk tries to contribute, but no one can understand what the hell she's saying, so she's no help either.

Part 2

  • Rather than trying to dance around the..um...Unfortunate Name that is Fisto, the dialogue goes full Refuge in Audacity about it.
Fisto: *about Skeletor* I'd like to fist him!
  • While laughing at the Heroic Warriors dire situation, Skeletor realizes that Adam is laughing as well, and is understandably confused.
Skeletor: ...what are we laughing at?
  • Some might find the Curb-Stomp Battle between Savage He-Man and Skelegod to be a little funny, from the first punch to the face to the part where he eats a magical projectile!
  • King Randor says that he owes Andra a debt he can never repay for bring his son back to him...then adds that as king, he could probably pay a lot.
  • Skeletor uses the power of Grayskull to gaze into the whole of eternity. Evil-Lyn is terrified by the vastness of it all. Skeletor? Thinks it's boring.
Skeletor: I WILL HAVE POWER OVER ALL OF EXISTENCE ITSELF! ...and existence can use a makeover. I mean, just look at it.
    • After Evil-Lyn goes on a nihilistic spiel upon seeing the infinite, Skeletor yanks her out of the conduit, then lectures her as if he's asking someone to lay off the chocolate:
Skeletor: One must be wary of gazing too deeply into the horrors of the void. It can be awfully addicting.
  • After Evil-Lyn usurps the power of Grayskull from him, Skeletor has no choice but to do the unthinkable: he goes to the Heroic Warriors for help. His efforts however, leave a lot to be desired:
Skeletor: [addressing Adam while cuffed and held by two guards] Well, don't just stand there, you royal boob! Invite me in!
  • Adam says he's come up with a plan to take on Evil-Lyn with Skeletor:
Adam: But it starts with us going to Grayskull.
Skeletor: Well, then what are we going to do? Ask her nicely to [dramatic] "please stop destroying the universe"?
    [Beat as Adam smirks]
Skeletor: [face of pure terror] Oh my God, we are.
  • Having defeated most of the Evil Warriors, Teela, Andra, and Man-At-Arms are menaced by...Goat Man and Pigboy. Duncan says they're scrapping the bottom of the barrel, and Goat Man tries to respond with a witty comeback, before giving up and admitting that they don't do puns. And he still tries to make it sound like a Badass Boast.
  • Skeletor trying to get into Lyn's good graces by showing her Panthor, only for Lyn to inform him she's a dog person. Skeletor grumbles to Adam that he warned him that wouldn't work.
  • Having been raised with the dead of Subternia, Orko has gone up a level and can now do magic properly. He ultimately defeats Scare Glow, by trapping him in a bubble and hurtling him toward some demons threatening King Randor, Man-At-Arms, and Andra... then sheepishly admits that he probably should have opened with that attack. Even if he's no longer a joke, he's still Orko.
  • During the final battle, He-Man falls from the sky onto the hood of Queen Marlena's ship. Because his secret identity as her son is pretty much completely out in the open by now, this exchange is allowed to occur:
He-Man: (slightly muffled) Hi Mom! Do you mind dropping me off at the ground assault?
Queen Marlena: Of course! Just be home for dinner!
  • Skeletor's entire obsession with being the one to kill He-Man is as pathetically pitiable as it is subtly hilarious when you think about it hard enough. This caused him to get tunnel vision and completely ignore the fact that he as the power of the universe at his fingertips and could reshape reality as he sees fit. Evil-Lyn even points out that at he technically did so at least once (and would have been twice if it were not for Teela's magic) and could probably do it for good by threatening his family. Skeletor literally laughs it off because it wouldn't actually be his version of killing He-Man. Even when they team up to take down a super-powered Lyn, the moment he gets an opening he starts to try and kill He-Man again even as everyone points out it's probably in his best interest to not do so. It's even implied his entire motivation for saving the universe is because otherwise it would not be him to kill Adam.
