• When the liner docks in New York City, Michel and Terry stand with four other passengers to prepare to leave. Terry spots fiance Ken and they wave, then she signals Michel that that's Ken. Then Michel signals his fiancee and they both wave. Then he and Terry signal each other as the other four passengers' heads turn to and from them like a tennis match.
• Michel asks to speak with Terry in private, and Terry rejects awkwardly, explaining her mother told her to never allow men into her bedroom in a month ending in "R".
• At the beginning of the film, the biggest news stations on the radio only have the news of Michel traveling on an ocean liner to report. One reporter can't even hide his shock on the live broadcast!
• Michel being ambushed by a group of squealing women who ask him to autograph a magazine. When he finishes and leaves, they read his "spicy" message, scolding them for being entitled.
• After Michel tells Terry what his telegram says...
  Terry: "And you"? That's you?
  (Michel nods sheepishly)
  Terry: [grins and wiggles eyebrows] Was alright, huh?
  Michel: [smirks] Mm-hm.
