As a fanfic based on a rather... strange idea AND being wackier than canon, this was bound to happen.
- Sam slipping the Trio laxative-laced chocolates.
- Benny is into ATLA, but when Taylor first hears him talking about it, she thinks it involves alcohol due misunderstanding all the talk of "benders".
- Later, he starts getting the other kids into it, even incorporating bending moves into power-use.
- When Taylor and the Finislators start going out on patrol, Taylor can't help but feel they forgot something. When Miss Militia asks for their names after beating Kaiser, she realizes that they forgot to choose hero names!
- The Talk
. Just... the sheer concept of it. - Sam grabs Coil as a Valentine's Day present for Tattletale. Lisa has a Spit Take when Sam shows up holding Coil outside her window and says this.
- Taylor's increasingly futile attempt at denying the fact that she's a mother hen and eventual just give it up.
- Some of Taylor's thoughts can be quite funny, particularly Palm and Forehead's forbidden love affair.
- Conny bluntly asks Panacea if she can make her a boy.
- Abaddon apparently thinks that talking to a wall would be more interesting that talking to Scion.
- The final scene, which has Scion/Goldburn/Daniel turn Accord's office walls purple with yellow polka-dots (that aren't even uniform in size). He reacts as well as you might expect. Goldburn calling him "uncle Accord" only increases the humor.
