  • Frank’s passengers all groaning in unison at each of his puns. When one of them pleads for him to stop, Frank's response is a flat "Never".
  • As Frank tells a story about the jungle in hopes of scaring the tourists, one of the fake menaces he mentions is some being eaten by hippos. One girl tries to point out that hippos don't live in the Amazon, only for Frank to hush her.
  • MacGregor summing up Lily's adventure at the museum: "breaking and entering, larceny and, worst of all, forced to take public transport!".
  • When Joachim's guide namedrops him, the prince kills everyone else in the room to prevent word getting out... and then corrects the terrified guide on his name's pronunciation.
  • Frank casually tossing MacGregor's luggage into the river, as he brought so much that would not only weigh the boat down severely but are also mostly useless belongings. The one thing that Frank does allow is MacGregor's stash of liquor.
    • Before that, Frank was rolling his eyes at Lily bringing along roughly twenty bags. She just smirks to hold up a simple traveling bag and all the rest of the luggage is her brother's.
    • Also, just the idea that MacGregor brought a Thurston Howell III number of bags for what he knew would be a dangerous expedition.
    • In the background, a group of locals in a rowboat can be seen grabbing MacGregor's bags out of the water. Finders keepers!
  • When his job of taking two rich idiots on a wild goose chase suddenly turns into him being chased through town by a submarine, Frank's reaction is a completely deadpan "The price just went up."
  • When Frank and Lily are trading barbs, the thing that really gets to him is when she says he's playing his guitar off-key.
  • The 400-year-old Conquistadores referring to Lily as "The woman in pants" with absolutely no inferrence of decorum, contrasting MacGregor's aghastness and Frank's bemusement.
  • During the trip through the rapids, one of MacGregor's wine bottles breaks before deck and Proxima laps it up. When she comes back above deck after the boat's cleared the rapids, she sways about drunkenly, vomits, and passes out.
    • Even funnier, this is after Frank told her to steal the Arrowhead from MacGregor's luggage. She scared MacGregor away... and then got distracted by the spilled wine. Cats.
  • The bee conquistador being the only one not pissed at his fate, because he tastes like honey.
    Mud Conquistador: We're disgusting.
Beeswax Conquistador: Speak for yourself. I'm delicious.
  • It's more dark comedy but still funny how Frank is completely nonchalant giving Lily advice on how to remove the sword sticking out of his body and her not believing this is happening.
    • The entire scene sounds like they're talking about... something else.
Lily: Look at it (the sword). It's just hanging out like that...
Frank: Well, it's just how it's made...
Lily: It's got a very strange shape. Have you seen it out the back, it's like...(mimicking a wiggly shape) wooh... like that.
Frank: It's kinda actually just straight.
Lily: (groaning) One hand, two hand, what do you want?
Frank: Let's try one. (Lily grabs the sword's handle, covering about half of it) You're gonna need two hands.
Lily: (yanks out the sword as hard as she can)
Frank: No, no, no! Ouch! It hurts!
      Lily: No, it doesn't.
      Frank: ...how do you know?
    • It gets cranked up to eleven when MacGregor starts offering help. Remember that, at this point of the story, both Frank and Lily are aware of MacGregor's "interests" lying "elsewhere":
MacGregor: Frank, would you like to bite down on my stick? (points at his makeshift crutch)
Frank: (grinning) Nope, I'm good. Thank you.
Lily: (embarrassed) N-no, for the pain...
Frank: I understand what he means... but no.
    • And again:
Frank: It's ok to be nervous, it's your first time. It is your first time, right?
Lily: Yes, you know it is, Frank!
Frank: I know, I know. (smirking) I can tell. I've done this hundreds of times.
Lily I don't know how to take that, Frank...
Frank: This is special... (Lily yanks the sword again) SLOW! That's way too hard!
MacGregor: ...would you like me to give it a wiggle?
      Lily: Yes, yes!
      Frank: Absolutely no!
MacGregor: I could pop around the back and give it a once-over.
    • The last one is accompanied by MacGregor making little jerking movements with his hand.
    • Trader Sam gets on it as well:
Trader Sam: (completely deadpan) You know what always helps? If you put your foot on it.
  • When Joachim is talking to the bees that the Beeswax Conquistador sent, his men are Locked Out of the Loop and dumbfounded that they're taking orders from bees.
    • It also leads to a funny moment when MacGregor gives Joachim information he needs, and Joachim furiously swats the bees on the desk to keep them from passing it along to their master. When Joachim tells him this, MacGregor wonders if he's spent a lot of time in the submarine.
  • When Sam and MacGregor's boat is scooped up by the submarine, Sam just jumps overboard and swims away.
  • When Joachim is having a nice tea with MacGregor, he asks MacGregor how he likes the jungle... and has to repeat himself multiple times, because MacGregor can't understand his German accent.
  • MacGregor rejecting the Society's invitation on Lily's behalf by telling them to "take your invitation and shove it up your association."
    • Complete with all the women in the room applauding.
