Funny / JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The JOJOLands

Go To

  • As Jodio keeps look out for Rohan, the rest of the gang are searching the house for the diamond as the target of the heist. Unfortunately, Paco and Usagi decide to get a little too ambitious:
Dragona: Our only target is a diamond 23 millimetres in diameter and 110 grams in weight! Look for a safe! that's probably where it's being stored. And don't steal anything else!
Immediate jump cut to Paco and Usagi stealing anything not nailed down.
  • Usagi destroys an expensive-looking painting while looking for the safe, then loudly yells that there isn't anything behind it. Rohan later complains about it when he confronts the thieves.
  • There's something utterly hilarious about the Paper-Thin Disguise masks that Dragona, Paco and Usagi put on in Chapter 4: Dragona's mouth-covering mask looks the most sensible but looks ripped straight out of a mummy costume, Usagi's mask only covers his eyes and seems to be transparent, and Paco's mask is essentially an upside-down paper bag with the eyes cut out... underneath his hat which has his name written on it.
  • Rohan easily deals with Dragona, Paco and Usagi and calls the cops. Luckily, Jodio has the means to save his cohorts; in exchange for the 6 million dollar diamond and the team getting away without the cops knowing they were there, Jodio won't destroy his lava rocks he came to Hawaii to study.
  • As the gang escapes from Rohan's villa and flees into the jungle, they are suddenly attacked by the string Stand again. Paco somehow still believes that it's some kind of high-tech security system, and Usagi can't believe that Paco still doesn't understand that they're being attacked by an enemy Stand.
  • After the last couple of chapters featured a high-stakes battle between the team and Charmingman where the latter stabbed Jodio in the neck and slashed Dragona's throat, chapter 12 opens with the team (and Charmingman), sitting at the airport waiting for their airplane, with Jodio casually asking Charmingman what kind of music he likes to listen to. The Mood Whiplash is palpable.
  • Everyone except Jodio coughing and looking away when Charmingman mentions that one of the lava rocks was destroyed.
