Funny / Inspector Gadget (1999)

• A small moment just after Dr. Bradford's murder by Scolex's robots, as they all file out of the lab in an orderly line, the large tank-like robot elects to plow through the brick wall right next to the exit door.
• "I'd shake your hand, but you might lose an eye."
• Gadget's reaction to Brenda telling him she built the Gadgetmobile for him:
  "You made me a car? The only thing anybody's ever made me before is a sweater!"
• While Gadget is battling the evil Robo-Gadget, hanging over the edge, holding on by his tie:
  Robo-Gadget: Hey, Gadget, it's a clip-on!
• "Somebody's been watching too many Saturday morning cartoons!" Cue Claw and Gadget looking at the camera, and then Kramer leaning into the shot to do so as well.
  • This is followed by a shot of Sikes shaking his head and going "Huh?"
• After frantically attempting to summon gadgets whilst clinging to the rear of Scolex's car, John eventually gives up and shouts "GO-GO GADGET MOMMYYYY!"
• *Ya-HOOOOOOO!* CRASH!
• During Robo-Gadget's rampage across the city:
  Japanese Man: THIS IS WHY I LEFT TOKYO!
• And how can we possibly forget the part of Inspector Gadget's training session where his guru tells him to focus completely upon "obtaining the balls." More specifically, a pair of balls on the floor in front of him. Gadget's cybernetic hand extends as desired...and then it keeps going, rocketing straight at another pair of balls...
  [The Guru screams like a little girl; cut to the observation room, where the onlookers wince in sympathy]
  Guru: (In the highest-pitched voice imaginable) UNGRIP! UNGRIP! TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!
  Chief Quimby: Well, I guess $6 million doesn't buy what it used to. (laughs)
  Brenda: Excuse me.
  [As hospital workers put the guru in an ambulance, with an ice pack on his crotch]
  Guru: (Still in the highest-pitched voice imaginable) He is not a man, you know. D'oh! He is a monster! (Sobs in pain)
• After a captive Gadget asks why Claw is creating robots:
  Kramer: To make teachers!
  Claw: SHUT UP!
• Doctor Claw, Grammar Nazi.
  Claw: Comprende?!
  Gadget: Yeah! I comprende!
  Claw: (shuts his eyes in annoyance) No, no, no, no. I comprendo, yo comprendo. Conjugate the verb, for pity's sake!
  • When Kramer's ordered to pull Gadget's chip to shut him down, he tries to gear himself up to do it...and faints.
    Kramer: [Closes his eyes to avoid looking at Gadget's insides] Okaaayy. I'm not here right now... I'm on the beach with dolphins... And oh hi, look at the starfish! [Opens his eyes to get the chip, and immediately faints]
  • Claw steps in to do the honors, then tells Sikes to "Dump this idiot in the junkyard."
    Claw: *melodramatically laughs at the depowered Gadget*
    Sikes: *bends to pick up Kramer*
    Claw: Oh, no, not that idiot, this one!
    Sikes: Oh. Wish you'd be more specific. There's an awful lot of idiots around here.
• A kid mistakes Robo-Gadget for the real thing and runs up to him and asks for an autograph. Robo-Gadget replies "got any money?" When the kid shakes his head, Robo-Gadget pops a Jump Scare on the kid, pulling out an arsenal of missiles, guns, chainsaws, and other weaponry. After the kid runs away screaming, Robo-Gadget retracts it all and continues on his way.
• Claw going batshit crazy after Brenda yells at him that she liked him better when he was fat.
  Claw: BRING ON THE BROWNIES! HA! WHEEL IN THE WAFFLES! I'M READY TO BINGE!
  • Sniffy hides under the seat after Brenda makes her comment.
  • Before she says this, she calls him completely insane. Claw's reaction is to lift his eyebrows and tilt his head as if to say "I can live with that."
• As Gadget is stuck on the bottom of the helicopter, Claw takes the time to mockingly call down to him "Hi, John, how are you doing down there?" and then mimic Brenda screaming John's name.
• When Brown wakes up after the operation and sees all sorts of stuff (pencil, bubble wand, lighter, etc.) coming out of his hand, his response is "What have they got me on?"
• Sikes trying to dispose of the robotic foot by shoving it down the toilet, like it were a goldfish. Penny catches him in the act, and is less than impressed at this. She then strikes up a friendly conversation with the guy while being held up at gunpoint. And it works.
  • And while he's struggling to shove the obviously-much-too-large foot down the toilet, he's ranting to himself how much he hates his job and would rather be doing something else for a career.
• Robo-Gadget's We Can Rule Together speech after his head is separated from his body and Gadget replying "Should've quit while you were ahead," followed by him shrugging at the camera. It's also a Stealth Pun, since Robo-Gadget is literally a head anyway.
• Claw and Sikes' expressions after Brenda punches Claw in the face.
• Claw screaming like a woman as Brain bites his ass and tears his pants up.
• Claw begging Brenda to not jump out of the helicopter to help Gadget.
• Claw mimicking Kramer's "Why would you do that?" after the latter questions him about stealing Brenda's research.
• Robo-Gadget punches off Gadget's head, only to then get hit by a traffic light.
• Claw lands in the Gadgetmobile. Gadgetmobile then deploys a boxing glove that punches Claw, sending him flying into the backseat where he erects bars.
