Prologue

Effet Papillon (Spectrum)

• How does Professor Sycamore encounters Calem for the first time? He sees a stray Vivillon fluttering about, thinking that it might be a sign of hope. Turns out, it's just there because it was confused from a battle and ends up crashing onto the Pokemon Professor. It doesn't help that the Vivillon is surprisingly heavy (37.5 lbs / 17 kg!).
• Meyer is still hiding his secret identity as Blaziken Mask even if his children promised not to tell. So when Calem mentions Blaziken Mask, he quickly tries to deny the similarities very quickly.

The Monster City Car

Follow You Down

• Augustine's reaction when he wakes up on the Train for the first time. Just him trying to make sense of everything is a sight to behold.
  • His first meeting with Gobta and the Goblin Riders. As in real goblins. Just the sight of them is enough to make the Pokemon Professor faint. When Goba asks what his name is, that's when Sycamore faints.
  Gobta: Wait, so your name is 'Uaagggh'?
  • When he's about to meet the Demon Lord of the city, Augustine thinks the butler (Diablo) is the said demon. However, he hears Rimuru and when he sees him in his full slimy glory, he nearly faints for the second time.
• After sending out Garchomp to fight against the Black Centipede, she quickly sees her otherworldly opponent and glares at her partner, as if she is questioning her partner's sanity.
• Shion being very enthusiastic to explain who Rimuru is, much to his chagrin.
• The reason why Rimuru didn't offer Sycamore a quest to leave the car? A certain dragon man (Veldora) is snoring with a bunch of manga magazines around him in the clinic.

Epos

• Shion's cooking. By the time Rimuru and Benimaru learn that she already escorted Sycamore and his Garchomp to the dining hall, they react appropriately, as if they're thinking that Shion led them to be tortured or something.
  Rimuru and Benimaru: SHE ESCORTED THEM TO WHERE?!?!
  • Just the soup Shion made for the two. It's nothing more than a purple goo with uneven-cut vegetables and questionable chicken feet in it. Sycamore is understandably shocked at her presentation and even thinks it's coming from a Muk!
  • Eventually, he and Garchomp relent and by the time Rimuru and Benimaru arrive, it's already too late. However, Sycamore realizes that the soup isn't actually that bad thanks to Shion's [Cook] and he's seemingly unaffected. That is until his Garchomp starts choking...

Shave It

• Just the naming choice the author made for this chapter. Yes, there is a Zedd song called "Shave It". And yes, there's a bear and shaver on the single cover of it. That's all you know.
• The teenage werewolf's uncomfortable reaction to Sycamore's Garchomp being a girl.
• Just as Calem is about to reveal the Train's existence to Meyer and Mairin, he wonders if Sycamore is somewhere in the Train relaxing in a forest. Gilligan Cut to the poor Pokemon Professor knocked unconscious after one of Hakurou's hellish training sessions.

Human

• Just like Sycamore before, Vaillant is treated to a questionable meal by Shion, which he also loves. Unfortunately, Garchomp treats more of The Dreaded after what happened and just hides behind the stand to avoid her meals.
• Sycamore's reaction on learning that the Train has an internet service that he could've used as soon as he entered the Train to contact everyone because One-One hasn't updated the introduction videos. The scene cuts to Garchomp, Vaillant's sister, and two female Kijin hearing a loud scream in the distance.
  • Before the scream, Rimuru quickly gives his Body Double of his slime form for Sycamore to scream on like a pillow. As for Vaillant, being a Wolf Lycanthrope with sensitive hearing, he just dives into the spring to avoid it altogether.
• Before Augustine decides on his Red Baron being the "Seeker of Crocus", Rimuru reveals that he called him "Professor of the Monster Kingdom" to the shopkeepers from the other cars when he told them about him. He quickly blushes red when he learns about this.

The Model Diorama Car

Autonomy

• After Gloria's first meeting with Goh didn't go so well because of his Heroic BSoD after Chloe cutting ties from him, she decides the only way to give him In-Universe Catharsis. Answer: "Settle it with Smash!". Just Goh's dumbfounded reaction says it all
  Goh: W-What are you trying...
  Gloria: Settle it with Smash!
  Goh: B-But I don't know...
  Gloria: Settle it with Smash!
  Goh: Y-You know, we can just battle...
  Gloria: Settle it with Smash! And my Pokemon is still at the Pokemon Center.
• Sycamore and Vaillant are in the Graph Car Tulip was in at the beginning of "The Ball Pit Car" and Sycamore exits just like she did.
  Sycamore: I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!

Codec

• When Goh starts demanding Gloria and Victor to let him in their secrecy, the two decide to tell him about everything they know in the janitor's closet. The result? The Galar duo's hair standing up with Goh backing away in embarrassment.
  Goh: Sycamore? Oh, you mean Professor Sycamore is on the Train. (Beat) PROFESSOR SYCAMORE IS ON THE TRAIN?!?!
  (cue everyone staring at the petrified Gloria and Victor and Raboot and Sobble staring at their trainer)
  Gloria: I think you just blew our eardrums.
  Victor: I'll let the others know... After my ears stop ringing...
• Sycamore and Vaillant are invited to watch Yuri's operation on the plastic soldier they saved, but the latter was injured after the fight against the Zaku last chapter. The solution to Vaillant's predicament is nothing short of amusing and embarrassing for him.
  Vaillant: Like I said, I'm a fast healer. And if you got some other way to drag me there without me moving my limbs, I'll take that option!
  (Gilligan Cut to Vaillant riding on a toy wheelchair for dolls)
  Vaillant: Why did I take this option?!

Stars Come Out/The Skill Crane Car

• Upon arriving at the Skill Crane Car, the owner, Taito greets Sycamore as the "Professor of the Monster Kingdom" against his wishes. Suffice to say, both Vaillant and Yuri are amused, to say the least.

The Twisted Lab Car

Push Play

• The Flashback that explains how BROKEN Matt Hardy prophesized Chloe being Lady Destiny which somehow involves his loyal scribe teleporting to his side to write the notes down which is extra humorous that the scribe somehow teleporting onto the Infinity Train without any explanation as to how he got there or how that's even possible in the first place.
  • Alex's annoyance in having to serve food to BROKEN Matt which involves extra green beans and no mustard.
  Matt Matt Hardy detests mustard.
• In the Noodle Car, Sycamore's head is spinning when he reads out numerous Asian noodle dishes and can't make heads or tails of them. Yuri saves him the trouble by ordering ramen and then is freaked out when he sees the soup bases and toppings.
• When Vaillant points out how Specter is copying Lexi^note The joke is that Lexi's original outfit was inspired by Specter because Green Phantom Queen joked that Specter has better traits than Simon, he gets a rude awakening from Easter.
  Easter: WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!
  • And Vaillant still has to point out that Specter and Lexi.
• The ideal that Yuri (age 11) decided to watch a playthrough of Silent Hill 2, one of the darker entries of the franchise. London having to recap what happened in the game makes him traumatized.
  Yuri: The horror...the horror...
• One comment sums up how everything is going to hell since Green "Psychological Horror" Queen is helping out for this arc.
  Exotos: Oh, so Green_Phantom_Queen is here? Interesting...Very interesting....Well, it was nice reading this story while it lasted, bye! (Teleports in Golden Guard.)

Fall Into the Sky

• When Vaillant attacks a denizen, he knocks their head off. Cue him and Augustine screaming their heads off while Yuri recognizes the denizen as Teddie and readjusts their head.
• Yuri's Persona is given the name of Ibn Battuta, and the scene ends with a reference to the Extra Credits video of them of the group having to go on a side trip.

The Poring Village Car

• Yuri gets absolutely ecstatic on seeing the Porings and gathers them all into a hug.
• Tobe giving Vaillant a Groin Attack when he accidentally insults Shadow Sycamore.

The Ninjala Car

Lost in Japan (Remix)

• The amounts of Dramatic Irony found in the Pokémon world scenes in regards to the Fog Car.
  • After Ash finds out that Gladion got on the Train, he asks, "Who's next, Paul?!" Considering that Reggie was requesting an audience in the previous chapter...
• Upon learning is a big fan of Silent Hill, Sycamore decides not to explain the twist ending to 2...only for Parker to casually reveal it.
  Parker: You mean the one where he [James] kills his wife with a pillow? And Pyramid Head is based on his desires to be judged for his crime?
  Victor: HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?!
  Parker: ZuTube and Silent Hill Pikipedia. Chloe and I use it a lot.
  Victor: You’re too young to be watching those sorts of games!
  • And when Augustine tells them about Alex Shepherd protecting the group from Pyramid Head, Parker tries to warn them that it's not going to work—^Explanation since one ending of Homecoming can have Alex become a Pyramid Head and readers of Blossoming Trail and Knight of the Orange Lily know that Alex Shepherd transforms into Pyramid Head Gloria and Goh shut him up to the point Gloria states they'll treat him to ice cream if they're proven wrong.
  • Augustine's A Rare Sentence about London's journey.
  Augustine: He apparently visited Silent Hill in what is called The Fog Car and saved his ghost partner [Specter] from being brutally massacred by a giant monster with a big knife and trigonometry for a head before the Mad Hatter nearly died of blood loss. (Yes it sounds wrong from someone like me).
• The car prior to Ninjala has the Windchasers escaping some giant tentacled monster. Yuri is so irate he pulls a Barry on writing down some support tickets for One-One when they have a chance to talk. He has an entire notebook full of tickets.
• The Windchasers entering a Ninjala tournament...and learning that they're going to fight the Red Lotus Trio.
  • The denizen signing Augustine in has a glorious reaction.
  "The end is nigh! Light and fire will clash! None shall survive! THIS CITY IS GONNA BURN AND WE’LL ALL DIE SCREAMING!!!! THE WIND WILL BE SWALLOWED UP BY THE FLAMES OF DARKNESS!!!!"
  • Chloe's entrance is highlighted with the Franz Ferdinand song "This Fire", shocking Augustine cause he wasn't expecting this ten-year-old girl to kick ass. Then he learns about what she's gotten into...
  Augustine: Oh Arceus. What have we got ourselves into?!
  • Upon learning that she can cast fire (cause she's wearing her Cloak of Marchosias) Asher ends up in a Heroic BSoD. Yes, the shadow that brought about the horror in the Twisted Lab Car and is known for using hypnosis and mind control for his own uses is terrified of this little girl.
  Asher: And her fire. Oh god why fire?! She's gonna kill us...
• Yuri never warned Augustine that the ninja gum he chewed on turned him into a child; so after Augustine questions just what he signed up for, Yuri, Vailland and even Asher can't help but snicker at Augustine turned into a kid.
  Asher: Wow, Augustine, I never knew how you keep your youthful appearance even in your 30’s.
• Vaillant's reaction to having to take the ninja gum, having Garchomp have his arms hoisted up before Yuri shove the gum into his jaws. Then he also shrinks.
  Vaillant: ARGGGGHHH!!! My powerful paws are now tiny!!!
• The videos the Windchasers watch about the Red Lotus Trio.
  • The first one is an interview with Randall as to why he gave Chloe her signature donut holer. He just answers that he hopes that she can use it to make donuts. Cut to her shouting "I am Chloe Cerise and I HATE TEMPLE GUARDS!!!" before knocking one out
  Randall: Well whatever the case, I hope she’s having fun with her very personal donut holer!
  • In Atticus's highlight video in the Joyville Car, Atticus is well familiar with backstage theater production because he's had to practice for the times he got shot in the face.^Spoilers He's referencing being shot by The Conductor from "The Ball Pit Car"
  • When the trio has to fight a giant puppet, Atticus states he'll aim for the head. Chloe states that it reminds her of a song. When she's ask what it's about, she tries to explain it's about how to survive the zombie apocalypse
  • When it comes to the Shock Street Car, it cuts to Lexi entering the House of Shocks ready to go through the trial. Shockro is horrified at seeing Lexi who is confused at everything he says.
  Shockro: What, you?! The ghost?! Not you again! No, not after what happened last time!
  Lexi: Excuse me? This is the first time I've ever met you.
  Shockro: After how you overpowered my machines and how you enjoyed it, I want nothing to do with your kind! Leave my sights before you destroy my attack robot again!
  Lexi: Listen, we need to go through another trial to pass at least five more minutes so can you just put a shock to my system or something?!
• Lexi is just like Easter when he screams at Vaillant for calling the Prince of Azada a poser.
• Augustine is shy to meet Chloe of the Vermillion. Repeat the 30-year-old professor who stopped a space war is shy around a ten-year-old girl.

Icarus Lives! (Remix)

• When Gloria asks why Goh didn't use any of his other Pokémon to fight Gengar, he stammers that it never crossed his mind to use anyone other than Scorbunny. Raboot facepalms.
• The showdown between Windchasers and the Red Lotus Trio is full of this.
  • Atticus decides to deliver some warnings to the Windchasers, one of them to be wary of extreme fans who want scraps of cloth and fur. Asher can be seen shivering in fear at being hounded by fans.
  • Atticus gets a flashback of the time he, Chloe, and Lexi ended up in the Bamboo Grove where Lexi was fawned over by pandas and he was reduced to tears and had to revert to book form.
  • He heads out with Tobe and Netto with a "Bye!!!"
• Some of the signs thrown about is about fans passively-aggressively debating about RPGs (and yes that actually is a thing).
• The Organizer of the WNA highlights how the two heroic groups are popular by opening a window where fans are chanting "Lotus Trio!" and "Windchasers!"
• Apparently Wooden Sword Ryu and Sycamore clashed in the Toy Brick Car. When Asher asks if Sycamore knows who the opponent is, Sycamore shakes his head.

Ignite

• Yung's dramatic reveal of a new Mirage Mewtwo gets derailed by Chloe...not knowing what Mewtwo is.
  Chloe: Is that like the evolved version of Mew?
• Chloe mocks Professor Yung's name in comparison to Oak, and even St. Joan admits it's Actually Pretty Funny.

The Chocolate Car

• Amelia's 'effort' at Sashay's Fashion Runway...slowly walking to the end and pretending to bare her claws. She still gets and 8 out of 10
• The Alolan Class's bar for 'deathly serious' is "Kukui wearing a shirt."

Routine

• Renji demands a raise for being the lab's Only Sane Man in regards to Chloe.

The Cyan Desert Car

• Goh hurriedly eating the note passed to him when Sara notices. Complete with an innocent 'What note?' when pressed.
